Hi, I just came back from Yemen. I stayed in Sana'a for two years, and I have to say, Yemen has improved a lot. I came through Aden Airport and returned through Sana'a Airport a few weeks after it opened. It must have been challenging for you, I am Yemeni, so it wasn't as difficult. I hope people can safely visit the country, and I hope the Jews also return to Yemen. Salam Ale!
Salam! Thank you so much for sharing all this, I'd love to visit Sana'a next time, perms got quite difficult to obtain this time. I really hope the situation improves and eventually have more tourism there, what an incredible country and people! 🙏
Getting better every day, the Jewish mystic teachings Are enough for Yemen, mystic wisdom united them and they are not truly divided by sect but encouraged expansive liberal thought Very divine and holy place, clean mouths, יותר חלה עם חפש של שלום
there is an angel above watching over this land with great interest, peace is returning to yemen, there is a raging love going on in this great land, great people are being born in yemen, fate will protect their paths they are significant to the whole planet
The Yemenis built the first skyscrapers known to the world in the city of Shibam in Hadramout - in the thirties of the last century. The British traveler and orientalist, Freya Madeleine Stark, called it: “Manhattan of the Desert” .. The history of this city dates back to more than 600 years
Thank you so much for sharing this information. 600 years? Wow! I bought a little souvenir from a local craftsman (he's in another episode) showing those beautiful building Shibam, what an incredible place!
@@AleSalvino This is beautiful .. On July 2, 2015, UNESCO added the ancient city of Sana'a and the city of Shibam to the list of World Heritage Sites in Danger due to the war ..
Hello Ale, I just came across your channel and I wanted to say I enjoyed your travelogue, particularly Yemen! I had the opportunity to Visit Yemen in 2003 and my experience was much the same as your own. The people are amazingly friendly and hospitable. I hope that the country regains stability soon and the horrendous violence ends so the people can live in peace. Thank you for your travelogues and I look forward to viewing many more. I have also followed you on Twitter. Best regards, Charles
Another fascinating video! Food in that region is incredible; even if you just eat vegetarian. And the restaurant was so bright and colorful. Beautiful violin playing. Strong coffee is a great way to start the day. We can only imagine the struggle to get the permits to visit and film. How outside your comfort zone you had to get to visit and walk the streets. And even taking this trip solo. We appreciate the hard work and the beautiful films from Yemen.
Thank you so much guys as always! It was indeed challenging (lot of stuff not really on camera) and some permits impossible to obtain but hopefully I'll get another chance to visit Yemen and explore the capital and the North, it's an incredible country and some of the best people I've ever met!
I wish that u have visited the other governorates of yemen, as u know Yemen is a big country and it's full of different cultures. Each city in Yemen has its own culture, accents, dresses and a lot of other different things!
I'd love to go back and visit more! It was difficult to get the permits for tourism in the North and in Sana'a... but as soon as this is open, I'll be back!! 🙏
I hope you will come to my country again, and I will take you to caves that you will be amazed at. I went down there with some of my friends once, and it was very adventurous. The other time, after two years, three years, you and I will go to the heights of the green mountains❤
I think that will be for another trip, I'm trying but some permits are a bit more challenging to obtain + not enough time to capture things in the way I want :*(
@@AleSalvino Al Mukalla is a really nice city. It is a bit more modern than the parts you visited. It will be nice if you can capture both. You will like it

Sorry, my friend, but you did not visit Yemen. You only visited the Hadhramaut region. Yemen is large, diverse, and beautiful in an unimaginable way. I hope in the future that you will go to all of Yemen
I couldn't get the permits to visit there unfortunately. My understanding is that the North is closed for tourism at this stage and Sana'a might open soon. So I hope I can come back! :)
Welcome to Yemen, but why didn’t you come to us in Sana’a? It is very safe. It is the opposite of what the media says. If you come again to Yemen and visit us in Sana’a, you will be in our hospitality and protection.
So sincere and touching video🥲Definitely travels help to understand many things in life, in a way I am happy to see that in the worst situations people manage to be nice to each other, smile and share. Thanks for an amazing video!🙏

So you keep saying you have to move on, what's the reason for this? And what would happen if you travelled without the armed guards?
When will you're people get along with each other instead of always fighting?
