It looks fantastic! I think for the fur, if you wanted to make it more hairlike and less like spikes (it looks wonderful the way it is, but still), you could make it thicker rather than flatter and twist/flow it a little, since fur curls and flows very differently from harder things like spikes ^_^ Especially since it's outside of the water. :)
I'm so late to the party, but I agree. It would've looked more furry with more 'spikes' that are flatter and more wavy. Bonus: You could still add the hair texture, but you only need a suggestion of texture that way! Yay!

I really like how you captured the movement of the the creature! I think to keep the fur from looking like spikes, you should remember that fur has volume and takes up space across the whole part of the body, so make the bases of the fur patches wider and then taper them. You can also put different sizes of fluffs next to each other so the ends have the size variations that we see in the artwork :) Keep up the good work!

I just want to take a moment and say that I love your persona 5 picture/painting in the background nerdecrafter! I've been watching the anime, and I want to get the game series! The sculpture turned out really good, and it's really cute!
So, in testing some techniques with my pearlex powders I was making a dragon. I baked the body to save my progress. Then added i the scales down the back. I decided I wanted to use my powders on the spine scales but didn’t want it on the main body. After running some tests on scrap clay I discovered that you can apply the powder in the spots you want. Then carefully run the piece under water. The unbaked clay holds the powder, while it washes cleanly off the baked clay. I was then able to bake the piece to save the work on the scales. It worked perfectly and I got the effect I was looking for. I was so excited to share 😉
Wow, Jackie, you are amazing at creating things with polymer clay even when you mix it with UV resin. i love your videos (mainly salt E crafter) and I hope one day I am as good as you.
It looks fantastic! I love that the head is so big and the pose you made looks better than the pose in the picture because it looks like it's almost swimming through the air! I do wish you'd used longer eyelashes on the litttle whale thing, also using 2 separate pieces of lashes for their tails could maybe give a more tail-ish effect. But honestly it looks amazing! Love your channel!
This is my favorite Play List! I adore this sculpture so much! I wish there was something else though. If the rock is a mountain then there should be very small trees and tiny wildlife. Or, perhaps I just get crazy about "I want this, and this. and that and this." LOL
