I think the floor is so reflective only when you get very close to hit. It wont obviously reflect a person hanging three metres above. If you watch it from ethan point of view it's clear ethan cant be seen (and alla aside he is dressed in black, pretty mimetic). Not saying this scene isnt absurd, just not for this reason.

things that i notice when I'm older, the pulley system that they used made absolutely no sense, if you wanted to lower the load and have more control when descending or ascending just add more pulleys

This room is supposed to have absolutely zero data leaving it. Cameras are churning out data every second. Cameras are a security hazard in this case.
