@@Riz1786 Hi Riz, I got it back in November and I’m loving it so far. I went from a 2011 A1 to this A3 so it felt like a massive jump in terms of technology and just convenience. Like I’d never had a car with cruise control, lane assist etc. driving the car just feels so effortless and fun. Looks even better in person than it does on video too, so really pleased with it so far.
@@19Dev98 that's going to be me sysing the same as for me it's a big jump having a 10 year old seat Leon lol! Hoping to go for the daytona grey Ed 1 35 tfsi, manual, comfort and sound pack WITH extras electric Boot, sunroof, advanced key,!!! It's everything I want lol did yours have that and the puddle lights at night under doors?
@@Riz1786 I think I’ve got everything except comfort and sound pack! But aye it’s crazy all the wee things that you didn’t know you needed until you’ve got them. Heated seats are class, 3-way lumbar support is mega comfy as well. Really like the virtual cockpit too. Even wee styling features like the ambient lighting and stuff like that, wee things I wouldn’t of even considered in my old car yet I’ll be sitting in the traffic lights in the A3 giving it “this is the coolest thing ever”. I think you’ll love the car mate, especially if your previous car is getting on in age!
Great review of this amazing car! You highlighted all of it’s beautiful features really well. I’ll be getting my Edition 1 A3 very soon! For me, this car will be my daily for a long time, don’t know how Audi could improve it anymore than they’ve done already. Thanks for the quality content man.
Good review normally they miss out on the pan roof but you mentioned it first 💯

I’m a Audi fan and when the A3 first came out I wasn’t a fan but with this version it looks so mean now I’m excited about the rs3 which they need to make even meaner. I would take this over the a class without a doubt

Love it! waiting for a 40TFSI to get one (but will they ever make it??), the 1.5 is ok but I am afraid of the DRY clutch DSG system as far as reliablity... (in audi they say that the 1.5 has a wet clutch system but I believe is the same DRY system as the 1.5 DSG on the golf 8!)

well what do i get wrong here? the S3 has 228 kW (310 PS) and its not a Diesel.... why does yours say S on it when its only a normal A3 with one of those weaker engines? Nice real life walkaround mate! and still a fucking good looking car even if the exhausts are fake haha. That would not be something i want though.

Yes 150bhp! With it being diesel it has some good mid range pull! It is quick enough!

One question, can you run CarPlay without having it connected via cable? I’ve got the wireless charging box option coming so it seems daft if Audi haven’t enabled wireless CarPlay to go with this option?

Two questions... do you need to have the advanced key to be able to get all the info you showed on the Audi app? Also, it would be nice if you could talk a bit more about the B&O sound system and perhaps show us the different audio settings. Many thanks!
fabian78 audi app is with any model standard that had ‘safety and service’... also yes I will do a video on the B&O sound system in future!
LewisB Thanks. I’m asking because I currently own a 2017 A4 (B9) without advanced key, and I can’t do much with the app other than sending addresses to the sat nav. For instance, I can’t lock/unlock doors or close windows, or anything else car related. But there’s a note to “contact the Audi partner to be registered as the owner of the vehicle to unlock more features”. I’m wondering if I will experience the same when the A3 arrives. Thanks again, I really enjoyed the videos and I can’t wait to have my Edition 1 too! November still feels so far away ... :-)
fabian78 you will love it👍🏽... I think with the 2017 A4 you need technology package with it! Or maybe the model year is too old! The new one will have it though

I’m about to purchase a new A3( my first:-) ). Can you make a shot movie on the Sound System? Is it worth it to upgrade to B&O speakers? How Meny speakers comes on the B&O? Where are they located? Is there additional software on the Audi MMI? Thanks a lot!

I clicked through the options on Audi and ended up with a non S-line, glacier white with the black optics trim, evolution pkg, 18 in rims, B&O sound, ambient interior light, tinted windows, s-tronic, 1.5 tfsi, all adding up to 39keuro. Ouch. I paid 30keuro for my 2017 A3 2.0 Tfsi quattro s-tronic s-line when I bought it new.
Is Apple Carplay only accessable through cable or can you do it wireless?

Amazing car, hope you enjoy! Your are incorrect with the edition 1 spec replacing the black edition. When a new model launches, ie. new Q3 sportback, Audi replace the black edition with edition 1 (1st edition) spec but this is only up until the first few production finishes. You will now see on the Audi Configurator, they have removed edition 1 and it has not gone back to being known as black edition.
Hi mate, I have another couple of questions if you don’t mind? Does the steering wheel lock automatically? It’s a feature I have on the A4 and I’m curious to know if they’ve fitted it on the A3 as well. Do you have entry lights on the rear doors? I’m wondering if it’s possible to fit those with the 4 rings on rear doors too. Many thanks
Quality review mate. Got more from this than most of the mainstream bigwig videos. Inspired me to change my vehicle order. One bit I can't find info on anywhere - my current S3 has CD/DVD and SD card readers in the glovebox. Do the 2021 versions have too?
What is a CD? What is a DVD? Yesteryear things?
@@janonine8608 Now only known as a Doovd. For the record, the new A3s don't have them but playback almost any video file type off USB.

Picking up a white edition 1 a3 saloon on March 1st so it has a 21 plate on it. Is the reverse camera standard or is that an option? Can't even test drive a car at the moment. So frustrating

3 years into my PCP with a TTS and considering swapping into one of these (trying to be sensible 😂) My only fear is I'd miss the power and fun of the TTS. Love the interior though

With the Edition 1, does it come w the feature where you can unlock the car w the contactless feature on your mobile? And I've seen some features where you can unlock the boot by just swiping your foot under the back of the car?

Very nice car but i would expect more premium materials in the interior, more leather instead of plastic for that price. 37k is a lot of money, i just bought an A7 55 TFSI here in Germany a few months ago with 30.000 Miles for 44.000€ (around 39.000 Pounds) and the materials inside the car are just out of this world. But your A3 is still a very nice car

What's the difference between edition 1, s line and sportback?
Different trim levels, Edition 1 > s-line > SE... the higher the trim level the more standard equipment you will get! Check out the audi configurator!

Standard mate, no option on the seats, there isn’t much you can spec up from the base model, sunroof, wireless charge, sound system and reverse cameras is about it. Enhanced driver assist but that most come with comfort and sound pack

They've been doing keys which aren't flick keys for quite a while - my 2014 Audi A4 has a key like that so it's hardly a new thing!

What I meant is that it's crazy that they've been making those keys for so long and yet it's taken them this long to spread it to the A3. Anyway, awesome car, just the configuration I want to get for my next car I think, loving the new body lines!

will be doing a lot of mileage! Think next time S3 is the way to go! Needed the car fairly quickly and the wait time was too long on the S3
