Personally, this should be the end of Sebastian's story. If there's an EW3 (which might happen), either they make a new protagonist or Kidman should return as the main character.
It would be funny if its a grow up version of Lily. Maybe a Lily and Kidman girl style tag team. lol

Yes we hope for them to do it, especially me I love both Evil Within games. Although it’s very unlikely seeing the reports that the main writer/director of both games actually left the company that makes the game. So things are looking grim as of now for a EW3. 😤

Overall is absolutely loved this game, while it did lack a little bit of the level variety of the first game, it made for it with its greatly improved plot, enhanced crafting/upgrade system, and tying up basically every lose end from the first game. While they're is still a couple of questions unanswered (Joseph location, Ruvik's fate, Did Sykes escape Union) they have no direct connection with the main story of game and therefore need not to be answered right away. (They might even be revealed in a future DLC. Pretty sure at least Sykes will be included in a DLC)
Verdict: 8/10
im 3 years late but after u complete sykes side mission theres a note on the table in his safehouse saying that he made it out of union
the ambiance in EW2 is also much less horrific, it's more of an apocalyptic atmosphere, with hints of fantastic thriller. there is also less gun variety, just some variants of rifles and the handgun of TEW1 if we complete the chases with the ghostly lady, in the first game there were grenades and a launcher, in the 2, only explosives arrows. This game is still pretty good, but it's a shame there's something which lacks to EW2 compared to the first game
Yea while I enjoyed both games I found part 2 the overall better package.

Such a good game! I really do miss the days of playing this game! It's kind of overlooked in a way and I can't wait to play it again. It reminds me of the days when I first for a new job and played the Evil Within series when I got home. Good times.

I had a few issues with this game compared to the original I won't go into, but damn if this wasn't one of the best ending sequences I've ever played. Still a really solid game
I really hope they let Sebastian live his life and move to a different MC, either Kidman or Jo would be good.

the last chapter could be made much more intense if there is a team of Mobius soldiers tightening the noose and surrounded the house and Seb has to fight his way through with the camera switching back and forth between Kidman and Seb while both of them are fighting off Mobius in the real world and STEM

Loved the ending and the game, but its more like a Resident Evil game not an Evil Within game... too much drama and a too small amount of brutality and insanity... Evil Within is not only a drama... its a brutal insane mental horror with maybe just a bit drama...

The biggest problem of this first boss fight: Myra is shallow and boring as hell. She doesn’t have enough character or backstory like Ruvik. I wished that they’d develop her character in the second game but there was none. She was just a selfless good mom bruh bruh bruh. I couldn’t care less for her and Lily. Such a bad storytelling.

Why isn't the "Ordinary World" song playing during the end credits? As for the game itself, I liked it better than the first one. It looked better visually & had a much more satisfying ending. Having said that I'm glad I was already familiar with part one. I wouldn't have got a lot of the references otherwise. I also wouldn't have understood the re-appearance of The Keeper & Laura. Speaking of Laura, the last chapter reminded me of "D2".

He was there, he just creeped in the Shadow, here and there he showed his presence through out the game. That demon that was hunting Sebastian I am pretty sure it was Ruviks doings behind the scene, Myras transformation? Probably she got corrupted by Ruviks power and I am pretty sure Lily did amplify what was left of his power inside stem.

Anima (the ghost girl chasing sebastian) is actually a manifestation of Sebastian's connection to the previous Stem since he was influenced by Ruvik, along with all his traumas.
and about Myra being transformed, it happened during her plan of changing positions with Lily since she was the core of Union, so Myra would become the new Core. However, due to Theodore's betrayal (he was faking being an ally of Myra and the others but he actually wanted Lily's power as a Core) she became crazy and paranoid, wanting to protect Lily at all costs, and cause of that her avatar became corrupted, and since she now was the new Core, Union started to be unstable.
The STEM is Still active.
This ending was so underwhelming.
This must be the nightmare every child goes through when their mother divorces from daddy and abuses her privileges to take custody

How long have the time past away when Seb lost his daughter? Why didn't she grow up? Was it because of the STEM she was like this?
Both games are brillant. In terms of gameplay, I go for the first one. The stealth during the second game was sometimes flawed and somehow weird.
But I have a lot of questions:
- Did Ruvik take over Leslie's consciousness?
- What is the deal with Tatiana? If she is from Mobius, what is gonna happen to her?
- Will Lockhead also show up in the next game? That dude is a pain in the ass.
Ruvik is alive in Leslie's mind, as indicated in the first ending, Tatiana is implied to be dead or missing, though her appearance has made a psychological imprint on Sebastian that she appears in safe rooms. The Keeper is already dead, or alive, sorta, Sebastian has finally faced his fear of the keeper and Beacon thus most likely will never appear again save for other people who are affected with his encounters, like Joseph or kidman. Will there be Evil Within 3? If Tango Games gets their head in the game, maybe.

hmm cobwebs on stem...does this mean beacon stem is activated or has mobius stem activated after 1-25years later? either way if they make part 3 of this game it must be ruvik/leslie as villain, mobius wanted wiereless connection on stem and ruvik/leslie has that so things are getting interesting.
Such a great game i enjoyed it alot. Its story n gameplay are way better then the first. There will be a part 3 i can see it
