Nah he look like Wish version of a young Justin Wong!! No offense but Japan has been sitting on season 2 tech for a minute. Again knowledge is key and that's how Punk lost by rehashing season 1 and thought it was auto pilot time.
The west has a problem with underrating the level of skill in this game. There was so much punk was trying to abuse that simply doesn't work on Asia's level anymore. Got checked for every random drive rush, tried to spam drive meter in the corner and lost because of it.
Yeah, he gets nervous when he faces solid defence and starts doing random shit.
Fr, Japan is currently light years ahead with this game

People calling Punk done are crazy. I don't even support this guy, but top players regularly get cooked too in tournament. He still has some room to grow
He's not done, but he's not a top player in SF6 as it stands.
It also doesn't help that Guile is mad OP this season as Justin said on commentary Cammy just isn't a threat to him anymore

I'm a super scrub in SF, but I entertained S1 of SF5 and could not for the life of me deal with Guile. What's fun about fighting a wall? I can't move forward, due to the booms, I can't out fireball him (I mained Ryu) and I can't jump in, due to the quick recovery of the booms and his anti air tools. Sooo what's the counter play?
There’s a lot actually. Having the same gameplan for 30 years means a lot of people have already developed strats on how to counter you.
Drive impact works but it’s a bit tight. You can also get a life lead and just parry his booms all day and wait for him to get in.
The best way to counter him is footsies. He has fantastic range on his normals yes but minimal conversions from lows.
You can also do safe jump setups against him (because if he blocks the safe jump he’ll lose charge and you’re free to pressure him without eating an OD reversal.)
Shimmys work too. Once you’re in, try to stay in.

Like Raphael mentioned shimmying is really good against guile cause most guiles want to keep their charge, so they crouch block which stops them from moving.
So it makes it easier to space out their normals when they don't want to move. Once they throw out a normal, punish accordingly
Always enjoy seeing Punk lose.
But Japan is just on another level and Punk still isn't 100% comfortable with sf6. I hope he can shine again like during his Karin days, time will tell.
