Otis Redding is one of my absolute all time favorite singers. When I heard Josh Teskey for the first time, I nearly fell over. It really was like being hit by a truck! JUST FANTASTIC!
That was my first thought -- Otis Redding, when I heard his first note. This makes this old lady who grew up in the '60s Thank you for making my old soul happy.....
You got island roots or grew up in England or Canada. So sorry America didn't get to enjoy Otis until a few years before he died. He was going to do his first concert in America that door open and he died but i grew up with Otis and we in Belizean still play Otis at clubs and over the Holliday his Xmas songs.
The Teskey Brothers are fantastic. This is Josh Teskey by himself, though the rest of the group is playing in the background. The group also consists of his brother Sam, Brendon Love and Liam Gough as well as other musicians when needed. They are from Melbourne, Australia and do travel around the world to play at gigs and have a number of videos on You Tube. Check out, "Hold Me," LIVE at the Forum in Melbourne. My favourite song is, "Man of the Universe." We also have Jimmy Barnes who you would describe as "a black man in a white man's body" plus lots of other first class Aussie talent that the world has not yet discovered.
These guys are sensational, all the way from OZ. Josh & Sam Teskey are the brothers, Josh out front. Play Pain and Misery, Crying Shame, you'll see where they're at.!!👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
I love this band. I love Otis. I love Motown. I'm told I'm a black woman trapped in a white woman's body. I love Etta James, Aretha Franklin and many more black singers. My favorite is Al Green and Stevie Wonder.
Sorry for your loss brother may she RIP. Tesky brothers are from Australia. You should react to the best singer on the planet his name is Dimash and he’s got insane vocal range and can sing in 12 languages. React to Dimash singing “SOS” and “Sinful Passion” you will get thousands of new subs

Absolutely just amazing isn’t it
I had the same reaction. The soul of the 60's is my favorite era. I'm just waiting for more reactors to react to this song.
Same thing I said remind me of Otis Redding I like to fell out my chair when I heard them
Same here. Growing up in Macon, Ga., this really floored me.

He definitely has that Otis vibe! I always thought his voice was a combination of Otis and Joe Cocker (with a little Sam Cooke mixed in)
100% agree with you on this
That’s exactly what I said. Perfection. 🥰
You nailed it. I said exact thing
Don't stop Josh's stuff! So proud from hometown
Bliss your heart young man! Yes, he reminds me of Wilson Pickett and Ottis Redding ❤

Love reactions on non main stream bands/singers. Got to hit Marc Broussard “Cry to Me”
Loved your reactions ❤ yes you do have to pause and give input, some people don't understand that.
Fix your audio. Use a microphone 🎤 and headphones 🎧
Also plug in the music so we can here it.
Do you believe in reincarnation? Definitely sounds like Otis...😊
You talk too much
