Wow, what a wonderful toy, it's a beast of a cooker that you can cook anything on it. I can hook you up with a formula for boiling crawfish that is perfect flavor and perfect outcome every time. I set up our church with the formula and it works to perfection every time. Good to see your wife and she was almost as happy as you! Congratulations!

Humongous, what a unit! There's a lot of work ahead of you Dski, but I'm sure your up for the task. You have the ability to lock the cooking doors, that's unusual. You got the 1/2 box, wow and your going to like the fire management basket, I designed mine after seeing LSG's, however they didn't have my size and Lang doesn't offer one. My cooks are much simpler because I'm not chasing or tending the fire as often now. Well congratulations again, I don't want to know how much

Wow, Dski, that thing is a beast. I believe it's the biggest trailer smoker that I've seen on any of the BBQ channels I watch or have seen in real life. I like that adjustable grill they have. I looked at them several years ago when I was looking at getting an adjustable grill.
I was laughing at your wife's expression before you began your trip. My fiancé has that same look when I talk about grills/smokers. That all changed when she saw it. I think she was as excited as you were. Anyway, congratulations on that awesome smoker and I can't wait to see some cooks off of it.

Man - what an awesome pit! And, more importantly, an AWESOME family!!!! Is the warming box heated just by ambient heat radiating through the bottom, or does it have air flow too? Cant wait to see it in action!
Thanks DH. The warming box has a baffle plate between it and the fire box. It’s adjustable allowing you to cook or just keep things warm depending on how much you open the baffle. It’s also removable to cook directly over the fire. Justin at Baby Back Maniac has an awesome video showing ribs being cooked that way. Check it out!

Can you show how the propane tank holder works?
I'll try to remember to show that on the next trailer cook. Ultimately it has a holder that fits a 20 gallon tank with the standard connections. Underneath the trailer is a main gas line that goes straight to the fire box to help light wood. There is also gas lines that go to the two burners on the back next to the fire box for fish frys, crawfish boils, etc. Hope this helps

@@rozd618 My model securely supports a 20gallon tank. I feel any smaller size would not fit snuggly for transport. I will make it a point to share this feature on the next cook.
