  • EU4 Winds of Change Inca can just sit back and develop its country to become stronger than Ottomans and France, just 'borrow' technology and keep up with the colonizers Portugal and Spain thanks to the totally not overpowered new mission tree.

    The early High American troops are super tempting, but you can actually get High American from another mission just a little further down the tree. If you are able to beat up France, England, and Spain without the better troops, its pretty nice getting the missionary strength, you can get something like 20% missionary strength super easily as the Inca, and it makes it pretty easy to reclaim the lands that the colonizers made Christian. Really no wrong option there, though, the High American troops make the sunset invasion super easy.

      He didn't lead a rebellion against "colonizers" Peru wasn't a colony and Tupac Amaru was a noble who had huge amounts of land and didn't want to pay taxes.

      @@celdur4635the Viceroyalty of Peru was absolutely a Spanish colony how could you think otherwise?

      @@lepellxcore Because i know my history. Peru was as much a "colony" as California is a "colony" of the USA.
      Pizarro was the first to marry an indigenous noblewoman and literally gave birth to the mestizo in Peru. The Spanish Crown and Pizarro gave laws to protect even the defeated Indigenous kingdoms.
      So a little bit of history, Pizarro lead a coalition of indigenous kingdoms + half of the Inca to revolt against the other half, after victory each party kept their rights and privilegies. You had Inca noblemen in Cusco with large manors and landholdings alongside Spanish ones.
      It was a monarchic system, and the local royalty was respected and integrated into the Spanish system which, btw expanded the empire throughout all of the continent.
      Tupac Amaru was an indigenous noble in the 1770's who was insanely wealthy, and control the trade from today's Bolivia to Cusco and Lima, which new tariffs threatened to end. And he always wanted to still be part of the Spanish Empire but with some of the new reforms revoked, the French Bourbon where splitting the Viceroyalty.

    In my current Inca game when I met Portugal in Brazil ~1500 they were relatively behind on DIP tech (only at 6, I was at 4 already) so I didn't even get any DIP techs from them.

      it could be worth to drag the religious reform a bit longer until they advance more, or just stay super low tech and develop

    WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Finally! Been waiting for this one. Let’s go Inca. The high American with the mountain deving is crazy lol. They are my next play thru once I’m done with Bohemia Hussite run I’m on now. Became the Hussite empire. Have almost all of Europe and about to munch up France and England next and finish up with owning all of western/eastern Europe. As Hussite Holy Roman Empire.

  • @IronFatherJohn
    @IronFatherJohn หลายเดือนก่อน

    Just two things from someone who plays the Inca a lot. 1. Take High American tech and troops early ALWAYS. Yes, It is possible to unlock it later once you've conquered basically all of Western Europe, but at that point you don't need the better troops so it's kind of a waste. The worst feeling in the world would be to lose to a big European alliance and get conquered all because you were greedy and didn't take the better troops. 2nd exploration and expansion as the Inca is literally dumpster tier.
    Colonial nations are insanely easy to conquer. You don't need to colonize anything, just conquer the colonial nations.

      @@GolemEnt ngl I'm very worried about eu5 rn. It's true that a lot of mechanics in eu4 are game-ified but I don't care. As it sounds, eu5 will be harder to learn/play than basically any other paradox game. And the more they need to focus on mechanics, the less they'll focus on individual flavor (nation to nation).
