In the early 70's I owned a T110 then a Dominator 99 so knew the attributes of both. One lesson I learned from the Triumph was that clip on bars nearly cost me my life at Yarcombe! Long journey, constant weight on your wrists was lethal!
As the owner of a Norton Dominator 99ss in the '60s I could never understand why anyone would want to ditch the Norton engine in favour of a Triumph engine. My Dommie would more than hold it's own against any Triumph. Also I don't recall any bikes of the era converted to a single racing type seat, where would the girlfriend go?
@@carlstark6857 Unit engine looks lost in the expanse of the feather bed frame , massive area behind engine with nothing but engine plates . Still think its great build though but its just my personal preference
yer gud memories a had some really nice john tickle stuff fitted, this is a mans bike fk the rest, i had 1 unit and 1 pre unit a sold the unit for 3oo pounds and swapped the bond bug for a pre unit
I have a Triton 1954 Norton featherbed motorcycle with a triumph thruxton 650 twin engine with bigger tyres using the triumph thruxton forks and a few other things. Absolute class.

Got to say that is a stunning bike! Nicely done.
Outstanding motorsickle well beyond my bank account but a real beauty.
The sound of a Merlin overhead is a nice touch.

@@andymath1523the rear chain is too long or the engine sits too far back.

Is it still for sale ?
Very beautiful, but I wonder if there's one Norumph for each Triton - an Atlas engine in a Bonnie frame...
Blood is pulsing to parts where it hasn't pulsed to in decades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
