Testing RODE SmartLav+ Mic with GoPro Hero 4 in Thixendale, North Yorkshire Yorkshire cycle route

If you've never cycled through Thixendale, North Yorkshire, Yorkshire Wolds, you simply MUST DO THIS BIKE RIDE CYCLE ROUTE! You have to be OK with steep climbs, though!
On this full-length bike ride video to amazing Thixendale in North Yorkshire, I use a RODE SmartLav+ Lavalier Microphone for Smartphones for the first time - plugged into the GoPro Hero. Is it worth the expense? (£50 for the RODE SmartLav+ Lavalier Mini Microphone for Smartphones, £10 for a RODE SC3 TRRS to TRS Adaptor plus around £6 for a TRS to mini-USB to complete the connection to my GoPro.)

On this cycle ride video, cycling in North Yorkshire, I cycle from Bossall, near Stamford Bridge, East Yorkshire, up onto the Yorkshire Wolds, to Thixendale, then back via the Howardian Hills and Kirkham Priory.
North & East Yorkshire cycle routes, cycling over 60 / cycling 60+ : Setting myself a challenge this year to do 66 bike rides with bike ride videos in the year I officially become an Old Age Pensioner.

The windproofing on that mike is fantastic. Thixendale is a lovely Wold valley, like Millington Dale nearby on the other side of the A166.

I do a figure of 8 ride that goes through both dales - Thixendale and Millington. Love them both 😊
