At 10:25 it is incorrect, the Gladiator node should only double the natural 10% more attack speed / 20% attack block. Those other bonuses comes from Hollow Palm while unencumbered.
ah that's on me, fumbled what I wanted to say. it's actually 60% increased, because double of 10% from dual wielding plus hollow palm. thanks for correcting that
not editing videos is so fun! Forgot to mention freeze was buffed for pinnacle bosses, from 30% slow to 50%. this will make dodging and uptime way better For those of you who are more interested in testing for the slow projectile mechanic, I will also be working on that again later into the league. That becomes priority for testing after the first 2 to 3 weeks once I have enough currency and have had my fun with the new toys of the league. and of course, I take requests! I like to test skills out in my free time, so if you have a mechanic you think would be good for experimentation, let me know in the comments and I will hopefully get around to it
I was planning on following Mathil's Winds of Fate build with the same gem + ascendancy combo. How many divs do you reckon would it take to replace that with a better rare two-hander?
IMO for hollow palm just spend the 3points on getting to versatile combatant, then you're right next to the golem's blood hp wheel which is great and you can change replica perfect form for a briskwrap and while you lose a bunch of evasion you also get +15% dexterity, 1% dmg per 15 dex, +35% cold res (instead of replica perfect form giving -30% cold res, which doesn't sound like a lot but hollow palm is already pretty starved so you can skip cold res on 1 or 2pieces) Also debating picking up Iron Reflexes because I feel like evasion is pretty uncomfy but that just might be me.
life cost nodes for 50%life/ 50% mana cost, if that's not enough switching to blood magic and only using hatred on a blessing link. Survivability is max ele+chaos res, high armour investment, fortify, freeze duration.
how viable would a melee/minion hybrid type of build be in poe? always played death knight in wow and have always loved the melee/ghoul type of theme and always wonder if cooking something like this up would ever be possible with glacial hammer+ghouls and skeles maybe? has something like it ever been done before? or is it way too out of the box to pull off
@@forfeitthewar dominating blow has your name on it, if you don’t mind the holy crusader aesthetic. So im a newish player only played like 1-2 leagues before and only got to maps and stopped, im thinking of giving Glacial Hammer Warden a try since the new Warden changes really interest me but I have no idea if it would work with a Warden
can work well I think! Hoarfrost will just make freeze go on forever with how often you'll crit-freeze with the trans gem. Look into stacking flat damage, maybe a HoWa or dex stacker. and definitely use a shield/dual wielding with warden
Im wanting to do a Hollow Palm build but was thinking about using warden with Wild Strike of Extremes. Just dont know hwo good that would be yet taking Unbound Avatar from Warden Ascendancy and attempting to make some defense layers
@@nicholasgreer846 kinda hard to say right now given we don’t know the real value of wardens nodes. But! Bark skin is a great defensive layer that should be able to help out with one shots. I’d say go for it, and just run a different skill during the campaign Oh and uh also, wild strike of extremes requires a melee weapon. Sorry
@TuskDeluxe oh really? I know when reading it, it says "your melee weapon," but it didn't say "Requires X (type of melee weapon). Like say Perforate does. How do you tell the difference? Still kinda new to melee
@@nicholasgreer846 If it says "your melee weapon" then it requires a melee weapon, type "unarmed skills poewiki" on google for a list of all skills you can use without weapons (mostly slams, cyclone, smite and a few others)

the way lucky works is it rolls twice, so if you're at 75% chance to block, that's 75% twice, which ends up being an "effective" 94% chance to block. for more info, refer the saints at the wiki: www.poewiki.net/wiki/Luck
Both are good! Just lacerate got much much more love in terms of buffs. Side Note: Marohi Erqi may not be worth the damage anymore, considering gladiator has so much synergy with block. it would be too much to give up in terms of synergy. good old axe and shield may be back on the menu

Is it possible to do GH with Warden? Take the freeze, and element stuff with barkskin?

Is that M4 theme from FFXIV I hear in the background? Haha.
