the fact that this comment was posted 8 years ago, before i was even in HS. Now graduated and having fond memories of playing this song is so wild. It was my absolute favorite to play in Pep Band. How i miss those days.
Our band is kinda a little bit bigger but still about the same. 5 flutes, 2 clarinets, 3 altos, 8 trumpets, 1 mellophone, 2 trombones, 3 Sousaphones, 7 percussionists, and we sound like a band double our size. Incredible how amazing a band can be with so few people.
My band has 3 flutes, 1 clarinet, 1 piccolo, 1 bari sax, 1 sousaphone, 1 euphonium, 1 mellophone, 2 alto sax, 5 trumpets, and 7 percussionists. This is part of our next halftime show accompanied by Bad Romance and Disturbia.
We have more than that 3 flutes, 4 clarinets, 4 altos, 5 tenors, 2 bari, 11 trumpets, 6 trombones, 4 baritones, 1 tuba, and 12 percussionists in our marching band wow
me I'm a Calrient plus it is going to be my senior year when we do this for our Marching band plus I'm an Upperclassmen maybe a section leader but I know who is actually going to be a section leader
I remember playing this arrangement in high school. This was one of the songs that we would always play at games. Good times.
Same. In middle school and playing it for pep band at this years games.
