This is very pretty, but I have some questions: based on the animations of palm trees this is clearly designed for tropical climates. Otherwise, you wouldnt use a flat of almost flat roof. Do you intend on having any gradient on the roof/ deck/ porch? Otherwise in many areas this wont pass inspenction. Speaking of not passing inspection, gutters arent used at all in this design. That would be used to typically indicate gradient. It is absent. without gutters in a tropical areas the foundation of this house would crumble very quickly. This house seems to be designed for a VERY specific climate, which is hot but also dry...US examples would include: California/ Nevada, Arizona. Perhaps you should mention this so as not to give people the wrong impression?

@@trychillipie I asked a few questions. The description, despite your response, only answers 1, which is the what climate(Philippines.)I didnt ask about the cost. Here is WHY I asked them: With your design for a tropical climate is that your roof appears flat or possibly has a very small gradient(1-2 degrees) which wouldnt be enough to control water flow off the roof during Philippines strong rain season. A flat roof always is bad in a wet climate because eventually water will pool. Furthermore, you have a 2nd tier balcony/roof which is not only uncovered, but is a receptacle for water from the roof, has NO draining mechanism, and also appears flat. So water will collect and decay/leak into the house..and it wont take long. That balcony is basically a giant fish tank. In a rain storm , that Balcony would fill up pretty quickly with water not only directly raining into it but coming off the top roof. That is a huge design flaw for a rainy climate, like Philippines. In tropical climates a flat roof , or a sloped roof with no gutter or overhang would also mean extremely rapid decay of your foundation. I've only ever been to Philippines once, I enjoyed my trip a lot but I have never built a house there. I have built in similar tropical climates and I cannot think of a single place I have ever build where they would allow me to build like this for the exact reason I stated above. The water flow is unconsidered in the design. Many of the other houses in the "Modern Balai" series do not suffer from the same drainage problems at all, but this 1 has serious risks people should now about. I know from experience this house would not be allowed to be built in almost all of Florida, for example which has a similar tropical climate to Philippines.
The layout is easy to follow and it doesnt feel cramped. Saved for future reference. Haha. Thank you.

Bravo!!! I cannot decide which is now my favorite ... this one or your Santorini house project. I think I know what you did :) ... you modified the Santorini floor plan and replaced the spiral stairway and pushed back the 2 bedrooms downstairs so there will be more privacy as to the T&B access. I'll just imagine this floor plan with the Santorini exterior and interior design. As always, congratulations for a job well done! More power!

Very beautiful.. stylish great decor and amazing finish.... 2 things I would have prefer 1 the bathroom not being so close to the kitchen and 2 a soaking tub in the upper room.... apart from that I think that's my favorite

I hope you can do a 3-bedroom house with the two rooms as semi-mastersuit and all have their own bathrooms. Exterior is ok but interior plan for ground floor can still be improve. Why cramp the Living room and Dining an open plan upon entering? Such plan needs justifiable design.
