I assume you have a ceiling fan in your toilet area? If so a trick I learned that helped keep odor down was never flush while the ceiling fan is running. It just pulls those vapors right up and out of the toilet tank.
I noticed the same thing I’ve resorted to reversing the fan for some more unpleasant flushes.
We are looking at the same Thetford as well. Overall, are you happy with it, and would you buy it again? Has the vent fan you installed made a big enough difference? Always great videos. Thanks for sharing 👍
It is a love hate relationship. It is nice we can find places to dump the cassette and not have to take the truck. But the same could be said for a composting. The fan modifications are working to an extent. But the ceiling fan still over powers it, so I either have to shut off the ceiling fan or revers it to blow air into the bathroom, which defeats the purpose of installing the toilet fan in the first place.
