Haven't seen a newer Volvo. Do they have anything similar to a paddle system on the steering wheel for gear selection? Would be a big plus in the mountains to kick it down a gear for more from the jakes.

i’m a swift driver now with a volvo truck. i bought a 0.7 cubic microwave smallest one that walmart had but it did not fit. do i need to get a smaller size microwave?
Finally Volvo is having a storage under the lower bunk (Drivers need storage down the road, not a whole dining table). That was what missing. I love Volvo it is my favorite.

Have one question for u. In the video u talk about having a cp machine. I was with the understanding if you have a cpa u can’t drive trucks. There reason that I ask my friend want to drive but was toll by the school that can drive truck.
That’s not true. If you have a CPAP machine you will have to do a yearly DOT physical instead of every 2 years and bring a compliance report. The company you buy your CPAP from can provide the report or in the case with my machine I can print it myself. You have to have a compliance score of at least 70%. Every might you use your machine at least 4 hours counts as compliant.
Why the old school Qualcomm? I thought most carriers, especially mega carriers, upgraded theirs in 2019. Outside of the outdated Qualcomm it's a beautiful truck. Enjoy and drive safe sir!!
Not to be negative but that's kinda bare bone? Mine has a table a latter to get up to the top bunk and a set of seats around the table a refrigerator that looks like it belongs in a dorm 3 drawers and 2 closets for teams. I guess that's the the 780 not 760 my bad
I was wondering about the Volvo. I'm getting a new truck in two weeks after watching this I don't want a Volvo. A lot of things I like about the cascade the Volvo does wrong. The one thing Volvo freightliner and kw do wrong now is they don't have suspension dump. You'll find low drops some swift drivers are either ass hats or too lazy to crank the landing gear down. I don't like the shift buttons on the dash and I don't like the air horn moved to the steering wheel. Don't trust the nav on the qualcomm. If you haven't had an issue yet you will. It'll just stop working and I'm some instances it will give bad directions. The Garmin nav systems are a good backup and you'll find when your close to your destination the Garmin will give more truck friendly roads. Both will send you to the front door and not the truck entrance so you need to know your customer before setting off. The only thing bad about Garmin is it doesn't know what bridges I can make it under. These a lot of bridges in NY and NJ I can make it under but it sends me around them making my trip longer so trust the qualcomm in that situation but read signs and be cautious. I know what 12'1" bridges I can safely get under it's good to know those things when doing cities.
I have to agree with you. It’s a comfortable ride but I’ve spoken to enough mechanics who have dissuaded me from buying one. I also don’t like the shift buttons on the dash. You pretty much have to take your eyes off the road to shift. There are things I like and don’t like about all three brands. Swift is slowly moving away from the old school Qualcomm. I have a Garmin OTR that I use as backup. I’ve been told the Volvo 860 is a better team truck. Glad I could help.
My 2019 has zonar, Swift is upgrading. I do have Air bag dump. The d13tc out pulls the international cummins x15, out pulls the cascadia detroit. Out pulls the paccarMX in the Kenworth. How do I know I've driven them all. And still gets better mpg than them all. I've been at 45,000lbs for weeks now and still getting 9-10mpg. On top of that the Volvo gives you an absolute sense of control going downhills. I had to fight all the other trucks going downhill. Idk if the 2019 is this bomb. The 2022 is gonna be sweet.

The 860 that has the table is much larger with more cabinet storage so underfunded is not needed
