If you work for swift you're a dumbass. Swift is the joke of the trucking world, everyone but they are aware of it. They pay nothing, hire idiots. Also there isn't any shortage in trucking, finding a trucking job is super easy

Congratulations Vilma and thanks for clearing things up about Swift. There is a lot of negativity on the internet but I believe we have the ability to make things work or not. I just applied today. I have my Class A but I have no experience as a driver whatsoever so please pray for me to succeed and getting hired. Stay safe out there 🙏🏽

The horror stories I could tell you about Swift! This was in 2015 /2016 I was driving for them. One pay check I got I brought home 36 cents after they took out the money to pay for training and the cost of the locks. This was not my first time driving a big rig. Back in the 70’s I drove a lowboy hauling cranes and heavy equipment. The life style sucks. There is no respect for drivers in company other wise. And I was coming from aviation as a retired airline pilot and corporate pilot as a captain. This was a nightmare.
Hi, I think after watching several TH-cam Swift videos, I think you are the best. I just joined swift and went through orientation and now waiting for my Mentor’s call. I am a bit nervous about who will be that guy and spending a month with a stranger is pretty awkward. I live in Houston, I wish you were my mentor
Hi Vilma. Congratulations on your year! I've been with Swift for 7 months and also no complaints. I have been calling every 2 weeks to see if any dedicated accounts from my home terminal in Texas though. I'm OTR dry van. Have you thought of becoming an owner operator? Been thinking about it and just wanted to know if you have any thoughts. Shiny side up rubber side down!
This video is perfect! Love your style and appreciate you taking time to share information! How was the dot physical process? Did they force you to do a sleep study?
Vilma, Can you tell me if they did any sleep apnea tests on you before they hired you? And if so can you share with us about it? My second question, is they first sent a conditional offer then sent me a job offer in California terminal letter with by hour pay. It confused me because I haven't attended orientation. What this your experience as well? I am living in the East Coast and I want to do OTR and they only hire OTR at this time.
Hola Vilma. Yo saquè mi CDL el año pasado pero después que terminé mi curso de manejo ya no continué manejando. apenas voy a comenzar en Swift. Que consejo me puedes dar
Aprende lo mas que puedas cuando estes con tu mentor. As tu pre-trips siempre si no te sientes agusto on el mentor que te toque cambialo. Y as muchos backings
After the 200 hrs you have to go back to the terminal for more tests or classes to get your truck or you going straight to get your truck and make money?
Vilma 😢 Where you been. That’s awesome. Keep it going, about to click up with swift in a few weeks. It’s always bullshit after bullshit, if I want things all just right it will never pan out. Gotta just leap into it, and get it. Clicking up with a new recruiter. Wanna go team driver, will see how this goes. So glad to see you again. Keep on truckin, and keep us updated mutha trucker. Chee

They do have that but honestly there are requirements you have to meet on a weekly basis from what i know. Also if you get your license out side of swift they pay that
@vilmacisneros4815 I was told yesterday the only requirement is that u have to be available for duty 5 days ,so if u get a breakdown or anything that's not your fault you will still get the 1k minimum as long as u were available for duty but but it's only for your 1st year

You said that you were making $600-$900 at first, was that bring home or before taxes? Be safe out there.
After tax
