I'd say if you're going back, grab the mirrors, stock rims, dizzy, and anything else you can afford at the time since it's the only one you've found. Extra parts are always good to have
What's up guys, great find in the Yard. I would definitely get those stock blades for wheel replacements. They look amazing cleaned up. And would probably save you in the long run. But thanks for the great content as usual, keep up the awesome work

Man I remember back in 04 my buddy used to smoke everyone in his ‘lude, his brother was a pipe fitter and built his turbo kit for him, we had to use a greddy piggy back from there og em1 turbo kit… which my other buddy had in his em1 lol. It was way ahead of its time.

Tell Braven he might want to check the knock sensor too, my buddy had the type SH and she would throw a fit starting because the knock sensor was failing.

The keys have chips in them. Gonna have to reprogram it if you swap the ignition.
Older honda keys do not have chips in them. B series d series h series do not have chips.
@@blakewooley6626 the 97-01 prelude 1000% has a chip in the key. I've owned 2 of them.

Those preludes have an immobilizer system. Could be why it's not starting. Check for the flashing green key on the dash
You might need to bypass the ignition immobilizer it might be the reason you’re getting spark intermittent

Replace the igniter and the key won’t work unless you got the matched ecu or re flash it
That is true for K-series not for Older hondas like d series b series h series.

You'll need to get the new key you got and igniton programed to the ecu in your car

I'm in Ohio and we have a lot of yards that stack the cars up to 3 high. And if you need something off the top one you have to go get someone with a fork lift to take it down. And we pull all our parts.
At salvage yard remind me of junk yards back in the 80s

I can tell you from experience if the bolts on the intake manifold aren't tight that joker will not start.

So got the key switch but no immobilizer. Hopefully it works out. Made a killin on the parts mission!🔥
If you swaped out the key and ignition with the junk yard one then you need to go back and get the immobilizer and ecu from that same car or you'll never get it to start its all apart of the security system
GO GET THE OEM WHEELS AND HOOD AND MIRRORS !!!!!

I had an h22a4 from a prelude that ended up at the junkyard, the ignitor inside the distributor went, car went to alot of shops n noone figured it out and it ended up being junked all over the ignitor being bad in the dizzy.. fyi any honda ignitor will work, could be from a single cam n it'll work..

Nice find youl need the ec beu to ise that key and ignition as 5th gen have be immobilizer maybe thats why it dosent have spark all the time might easier to just get a jumper harness and use an obd1 ecu

If you want hardware get some from a honda accord around the same year
Yous took the ignition with the immobilizer but yous forgot the ECU that works with that OEM key
H 22 does not have an mobilizer.
If you do go back to the junkyard, grab the ECU.
