Grab the key cylinders from that car in the junk yard for your doors. Nice to have the ignition match the doors
Check the ignition switch. You can pop it off with a flat head and start it without the key. Sometimes the key doesn't push down on the lock enough.
Good job Braven! I must say you are pretty smart when it comes to diagnosing problems. #DBFam
Ignition switch bro I have a 97 it does the same thing they had a recall on them
Like father like son always putting in work
Right at 4:20 Bravus brings the right energy!!!
LETS GO! Monday DBFAM time!!
There’s a KILL SWITCH somewhere for the coil!
Braven is a beast!!! Love it!!! Solid work fam
Good shit brodie. Braven did his thang. Personally I would have given up but that’s not the dbfam 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
There must be a secret kill switch somewhere
Check the tumbler on the ignition switch
I believe autozone you can print out the wire diagram for that car make sure the wire that powers the coil on crank is good then see if the ignition switch is good
Hell yeah!!!! Good to see it run and drive!! Also, good call on the TL wheels! Gonna look dope!
My civic had this problem when I did the k swap… the culprit was the alarm system cutting the ignition. I yanked it out and have no issues. I could even hear the ignition relay freaking out when cranking.
Good work braven
Seems like the neutral safety switch on the shift see if it’s unhooked or bad …Try putting it in neutral instead of park..
Good job 👍 I would have used the wheels from the prelude at the junk yard. Nice wheels you got though
Ignition wire harness
Key Ignition switch
It's ignition harness I already know
ignition switch
It Sounds like it’s possibly the ignition switch at the end of the key or the ignition relay🧐maybe I had a similar issue it was the ignition switch getting hot under load an loosing contact inside the switch itself
Hell yeah my guy happy to see it run!
If you would have read my last comment, told yall to make a push button start to put power in the system backwards. Glad it runs smoothly
Obd0 for the W
The Prelude is an awesome car
Isn’t that how car thieves used to bypass security systems when hot wiring a car? That’s why some people used hood locks.
Nice, but i would have bought the prelude blades from the junk yard. Great video, nevertheless.
I wouldn't buy them for a car that decides when it wants to run. Lol
I love the video Mann 💯❤️
💪💪💪
Every thing looks good now with the immobilizer key system Now by chance just change the Main Fuse Relay it also has this one to it might be bad solder joints are cracked on it that is causing your intermittent Spark
Love what you guys do keep it up
Nice move on the TL Wheels
Hell yeah brotha , that's what's up .. peace and love all keep it rad stay safe and build on l8z famz and keep having fun.. #DBFamStrong #BuiltNotBought #WhoopWhoop
Always liked that Gen 👽👍🏻
Main reley
Change the distributor cap and rotor it won’t give you spark if it doesn’t work , that happened to me , please try this ✅
Its like its got a hidden kill switch, maybe wire a push button start or spray out the factory ignition cylinder with electronics parts contact cleaner
Nice 👌🏻🇳🇱
Let's go Braven
👍👍from this guy 0:09
Before I watch...I'm gonna say security system was the culprit
Interesting
LITERALLY I WAS GONNA SAY SECURITY SYSTEM, Haven’t watched it yet
Wrong. Should have watched the video
My civic had this issue after I did the k20 swap… and it was the security system
@@z-bruh3960so what’s the problem than smart guy??? He obviously didn’t fix the issue ya asshole 😂😂😂
Dbfam ❤
Seems like an ignition switch problem.
Let's go DB FAM 💪💪💪 first
Honda ignition switches can wear out and create this same problem
Gang gang thanks for making my day with the upload! #Dbfamstrong
The blinks are a code to let you know what's wrong
Factory prelude wheels looks good in them but if the tls are for a steal you cant complain lol
Mint
Your neighbor got soul
Main relay
Get someone who cuts & programs keys probably need to reprogram the key to immobilizer?
This was my thoughts that maybe he has the valet key which will turn the ignition and crank but will not start
Bro I told y’all to buy the whole thing in a deal and take the junk shell back
Sounds like a neutral safety switch
Did you guys check for a kill switch or did it have an aftermarket alarm?
he should really post again on his channel so much potential but dude rather work for some one then be his own boss
Fusible link from ignition to the starter?
Before I watch probably a kill switch to the starter
I don’t see any grounds on the motor ??
Braven looks like to done something with his eyebrows.?
Your ignition swith is bad. Take ignition swith from the donor car!
He did with the entire harness attached. But that owner had the same issue and bought that new dizzy . Braven bought that new dizzy off the junkyard.
so all this and you don't even mention what fixed it? so lame
He didn't fix it
You didn’t understand?
It’s the ignition switch.
He bypassed the power to the starter because in start mode the power wasn’t going to the dizzy but in ACC it was.
@@chrisrobles2012yeah but the vehicle turned off after it was started
@@recarored9862 , power to the ignition switch is based upon the contacts staying firm and both cars had bad parts. Bypassing the switch power in any scenario whether it be for the fuel relay, or main relay only proves what the problem is but doesn’t solve the initial loss of power due to bad contacts within the switch . A new one should solve it.
