Depends if you are more interested in android or iOS for an operating system. I’ve been in the Apple ecosystem since the first iPhone came out (except for a one year period when I had both a windows phone and a galaxy S3), so I’m more than happy with the X and its advances in design, display and camera. If you like android phones more, though, you might want the Note 8 instead. It’s great that we have such good options these days!
I think the swipe to unlock is good. Without it you can’t check the time, the phone would automatically go to home screen screen so you’ll have to lock your phone just for checking the time.
That depends on your needs. If you want a fingerprint sensor, a really good low light camera, and longer battery life, get the P20 Pro. Get the iPhone X or XS for the user experience - if you use social media and Instagram stories a lot, if there are apps you need that’s only available or works best on iOS, if you have a lot of friends on iMessage, if you use AirDrop to send files to your Mac and vice versa, if you have an Apple Watch or planning on buying one, etc
It costs a thousand dollars now.. but how about next year 2018 up to year 2019, is your $1000 iphoneX still worth the price considering that the cheaper smartphones are getting better at a fraction of that pricepoint? Anyways this is just my personal opinion, I have nothing against apple iphoneX since I'm an iphone owner as well. More power to your channel. This is still a great review by the way 👍

The Optional 29W Adapter we featured in this video is actually the same one that comes with the MacBook. I returned my iPhone X got an iPhone 8 Plus. Better battery no wonky Face ID or ugly notch and more surface area on a display that doesn’t turn bluish off axis. Touch ID is faster. So happy to have the home button back!
Why is learning to a few gestures a steep learning curve? Learning to swipe up on a screen takes a second to learn. Getting use to doing it, maybe a day or two.

I think swiping up is necessary. I don’t want to go straight to the home screen every time I look at my phone. Sometimes I just want to see who text or called me or what notifications just came thru. Going straight to the home screen every time I look at my phone would get annoying very quickly
If you have to cover a glass back and pay insane prices for replacement just put a metal back instead. It is just marketing for the phone accessory market to cash in. Edit: Actually, it is after market blackmail Apple is doing. You will have to buy a cover to protect your phone or face a 'fine' for breaking it. You will have to buy a fast charger otherwise enjoy super slow charge speeds. You will have to buy Airpods because they are forcing you to use bluetooth headphones otherwise enjoy music with a pair of cheap wired earbuds with a adapter that comes with your 1K phone.

I was on the iStore at Ayala Cebu few days ago to see and test the iPhone X (ten). Since the phone's body is made from "the strongest glass ever made for a smartphone", it must be bullet-proof. I hope that will be our life-saver. "Ooh!"
Naing Aung Lu Lu If the sunglasses block infrared light, then it will not unlock unless you uncheck ‘Require attention for Face ID’ in settings. Then it will work with those glasses. This is the same setting that makes you look at the phone before it unlocks as a security feature. You can just turn it off.

The X Plus, will come on march, like the Plus line always does, isn't it? I think the iPhone X is too much expensive for what it gives to us. Like: 3 Gb RAM live memory, 64 gb memory for a Smartphone which allows you to film on UHD 60 frames/sec or the slow motion in FHD 240 frames/sec. You may need the 256 Gb memory Smartphone. 1100$ for only the face ID and emojii technologies, plus the Samsung glas, and to have the dual cameras which come out of the back cover of the iPhone X are planty failures for this price. It is my feeling.

Great, impartial review (it’s refreshing to see this in these days of polarized fanboy bickering)! A couple of things I wanted to mention: Apparently the Animojis don’t even use the true depth sensors in the X, as people have been shown using them while covering up that sensor. It seems that Apple is just using it as another selling point for the X, when they could have probably put it on the 8 and 8 Plus as well. Another thing is about Apple’s glass replacement costs. According to the Apple support page, it costs $279.00 for screen replacement only (unless you have AppleCare, which is also expensive). ‘Other damage’ costs $549.00, which may include damage on the back, because to repair that they have to take apart all the internals to get to the back. If I am surprised about anything with the iPhone X, it is the battery life. It is a lot better than I expected it to be. I used to push my Galaxy S6 edge to death throughout the day, every day, and I would be at 50% battery halfway through my work day. With my iPhone X, and even heavier usage, I still have about 30%-40% battery life left over by the time I get home. My only disappointment relating to the battery would be the exclusion of a Fast Charger in the box. C’mon Apple, that’s just wack as fuck. 😤
Comparing iPhone X with the current Android flagships it makes me say that hey apple you're catching up but you're so far. An all screen phone, facial recognition, wireless charging are years years older. I kinda feel silly about people saying that iPhone x is revolutionary coz they didn't remember what Android devices had to offer that they are way better than Apple's take note in cheaper price. Two issues that i have been seeing with lots of iPhone X review the notch is quite annoying with the lack of several app optimization and i kinda hate the status bar that has no space for battery percentage and those additional necessary icons that can save you time and effort instead of clicking several clicks. One more thing the face id sometimes does not work properly in direct sunlight trust me you'll get hard unlocking your phone, also in well lit places.

It seems that Apple is just using it as another selling point for the X, when they could have probably put it on the 8 and 8 Plus as well.
Another thing is about Apple’s glass replacement costs. According to the Apple support page, it costs $279.00 for screen replacement only (unless you have AppleCare, which is also expensive). ‘Other damage’ costs $549.00, which may include damage on the back, because to repair that they have to take apart all the internals to get to the back. What they do in these situations is just give you another phone instead of fixing the one you gave them right away.

If I am surprised about anything with the iPhone X, it is the battery life. It is a lot better than I expected it to be. I used to push my Galaxy S6 edge to death throughout the day, every day, and I would be at 50% battery halfway through my work day. With my iPhone X, and even heavier usage, I still have about 30%-40% battery life left over by the time I get home. My only disappointment relating to the battery would be the exclusion of a Fast Charger in the box. C’mon Apple, that’s just wack as fuck. 😤
the lack of a fast charger or a wireless charger is pathetic. my iphone x arrives tomorrow but this is a shady apple tactic

Comparing iPhone X with the current Android flagships it makes me say that hey apple you're catching up but you're so far. An all screen phone, facial recognition, wireless charging are years years older. I kinda feel silly about people saying that iPhone x is revolutionary coz they didn't remember what Android devices had to offer that they are way better than Apple's take note in cheaper price. Two issues that i have been seeing with lots of iPhone X review the notch is quite annoying with the lack of several app optimization and i kinda hate the status bar that has no space for battery percentage and those additional necessary icons that can save you time and effort instead of clicking several clicks. One more thing the face id sometimes does not work properly in direct sunlight trust me you'll get hard unlocking your phone, also in well lit places.
