I live in Vancouver, and I can tell you that it gets averagely cold (like -5 degrees Celsius) but it doesn't get crazily cold.
I live in Edmonton, not far from Vancouver but totally different climate. I visited Vancouver recently for work. It is tropical compared to the rest of Canada. 'Cold' there is mild here. Still, we are having a cold snap in the west. So FRIGID where I am and mildly 'normal Canadian winter' cold in Vancouver right now. ;)

Daily when I play music in my car? If i'm playing music and using GPS on my phone, no way the battery lasts through a drive. The charger is necessary.

Look up Smartisan Nut Pro 2. It got a fingerprint sensor embedded in its logo on the back of the phone. It is a brilliant looking device.

Not sure who you're watching, but everyone I've seen has given pretty different view points on the iPhone X. Maybe you need to broaden your reviewers.
The iPhone X's price is actually more manipulative than you'd think. In general, people tend to have a more positive outlook on something they spent a ton of money on. In other words, the iPhone's $1,000 price tag forces buyers to be happy, even if the phone isn't all that impressive.

Yeah, my first Android phone was in 2011, it wasn't good, but today, 2017, it's really good.
Plus you can set default apps. Apple doesn't trust their customers to choose which apps open when triggered by a function because they won't choose Apple apps (Google maps/Waze anyone?)
Not to mention that most Androids never get fully outdated.
When the manufacturer has given up you can just use a custom rom for the newest android.
No way they're slow, they're actually pretty fast as long as the devs maintain their optimization and software updates. Its just that Apple's iOS is just a tad bit more responsive compared to Android that non-techies seem to notice, hence "Android is slower". No phone is perfect unfortunately, and finding that perfect Android phone is definitely a challenge, especially with Google's recent fuck up and the Essential phone's dissapointing camera.

I have a 165€ Xiaomi with a 4100 mAh battery.
I feel like I'm completely stuck with Apple after being with them since the original iPhone. So many songs, TV shows, movies, and apps have been purchased over the years that the idea of losing them all really worries me.
BUT
I have not upgraded my phone since the 6S. To me that is still the best Apple phone out at the moment. Fast fingerprint technology, no noticeable frame skips in apps, and the latest model that still retained the audio jack (which I require to stay sane during transit).
If I ever do upgrade it most likely will be a jumping of ship (maybe to the Pixel?) unless Apple really steps up their game. But it will be begrudgingly and with sadness.
You'll have to stick to the first Pixel. The Pixel 2 doesn't have a headphone jack to my knowledge.

Now I'm back with a Note8, best decision ever, love everything about it, and the screen is best on market. Btw, I can't believe my iPad fucking PRO is slowing down greatly... Apple you can't be serious, my piece of shit samsung tablet running freaking windows doesn't slow down like this...

I've been using iphone since the 5s came out in 2013 and i have to say iphone x after having it for about almost 2 weeks now. I think I'm thoroughly done and bored with iOS. I think it's time for a change since apple really did nothing special with this phone by any means. I can get a phone with a much large oled display for far cheaper. Sorry apple but I think I'm done with you.

Why are you bored with iOS? or maybe referring to the iPhone, the hardware? If it is the os, I expect that you will try to smoothen out the bumps since 2013 and expected to be great. If the hardware, what more? Make the phone modular, make the camera even greater than it is almost at the edge of physics along with a price of 699 or less?
That is unrealistically without making them bankrupt for less profit. Expected for high development cost and high margins along with a cheaper price, that is unrealistic, like I said, without making the profits turn to negative.

If you're going to get any iPhone. (you shouldn't) The 6s plus would be your best choice, it has 4k video recording, not the biggest screen, but it's better than 4.7 inches, and a headphone jack. But in my opinion you should stick with android.
Problem is I don't record video so it's unnecessary for me and I like having a phone that fits in my pocket. Not an iPad mini. Android might be an option later for me though.

As a person that studies it I have to tell you that the iOS works cleaner and needs less to run smoothly. When you buy and iPhone you don't just buy the device, but you buy the Garantie that your phone will be supported for years. E.g. the Samsungs S Note 3 even with a fresh battery can only be run in energy save mode as it would burn through the battery in hours. This is on purpose. No updates have been realised for 1 year now, while my iPhone 6 is still getting updated all over the place.

You can swipe up to unlock while it’s reading your face. As soon as you wake up the screen, swipe up. It will be faster.
You can also access multitasking much quicker by swiping up and right instead of straight up and pausing.

Hi linus, at 5:27 you are using the irisscanner on the Samsung Galaxy S8 but the S8 also has face unlock and it works amazing! (I have a S8 myself) and you don't have swipe or click a button to activate it. You can even just look at your phone while it's off and it will turn it on and unlock it.

Bought the Xiaomi MIX 2 and it is pretty great, especially using Android. 6gb of RAM and 2.5ghz processor with a full screen display and usb-c port for fast charging. Battery lasts like 14 hours while I watch videos and play games, charges in 1.5 hours. Got the 128gb one because the 256 just seemed like too much space I'd never use. Also the finger print scanner is on the back of the phone and instantly unlocks even when phone is sleeping. All this for 550usd give or take. I recommend it.

I'm just saying as a phone, this one is pretty good, and people who use at&t and Sprint can check this out if they're in the states, and obviously other people would have to check their carriers in other countries. Maybe one day Verizon will carry Chinese phones considering how good they are getting. Either way, this was a general commentary.

On the LG V30 you have an always on display and face unlock without an additional gesture. Just look at it and it unlocks. In addition you can use the perfect placed fingerprint scanner and a voice unlock all at the same time. Best combo in my opinion.
