Lucario's D-Air not being a spike in vanilla Smash Bros feels like a crime because it has to be one of the most naturally animated "kicking someone downwards" attacks in the entire game.
I feel like if they made a big sour spot and the sweet spot harder to hit it could actually be balanced. And me personally, if they were willing to give Hero a spike, despite him having a move that can hit literally the entire stage, OHKO rng moves, crit rng smash attacks (which can also be buffed with his spell list), I think they could give Lucario a reasonable spike. If not his down air, then do something like project m or HDR where you will spike them if you grab them midair with his side b.
Possible new mod idea: EVERYONE gets a taunt that can attack! Example 1: Mewtwo’s up taunt (the one where he spins around) now has a hitbox around his tail. Example 2: Sonic’s down taunt (him doing the windmill) can now damage the opponent. Upon many other examples.
I respect the sportsmanship of Poppt rejecting the “winner-take-all” on the principle that he was behind and it would be unfair, I feel like most people *coughnickcough* would have just taken that deal.

Can we get video of Power vs Skill vs Speed? Like grade the characters based on their canonical strength and skill and speed. Then mod them to reflect that. Strength effects damage and knockback of normals. Skill controls the effectiveness of specials. Speed effects movement and possibly frame data. I think that would be a cool video.
Thanks for adding a young link spike. But I was kinda hoping for the one in melee where if you hit the top hit boxes, your opponent would catch Fire 🔥 and spike⬇️. It was hard to hit, and since it was melee, you could cancel it, but it was cool and majestic.

I think the logic is like the aura part is like an explosion, and no explosion spikes (besides Ivy dair I think) in this game for some reason

Don't need to imagine; that's 64 Kirby. Besides, Kirby can repeatedly use dair to gimp or kill, so it doesn't really need high power.
