Who else has heard of almost every game on this list?
The one game I hadn't the faintest knowledge of, was Love. I'd at least heard of the rest. Most of them I even know quite well as they are on my list of games to maybe get. :)
I'd say that if you don't know most of these, you're a casual gamer. Not meant in a mean gate keepy way, mind you.
Only one I haven't owned for a while is Love, the rest are quite prominent indie games.
My list would be:
Elliot Quest (Zelda II but better)
Alkane
Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan
Weakwood Throne
Climbros
Phoenotopia Awakening is criminally underrated, great game
Waffles around for 50 seconds
The Touryst is gorgeous indeed. I played a demo a while ago and have been wanting to get back into that world.
So great to see The Touryst on here! It's a super fun game casually, and it's even more fun to speedrun. A shame that it doesn't get more love.
I find it simultaneously amazing and terrifying that I knew every game on this list.
Love to see the Fast RMX run! I picked it up alongside Breath of the Wild and it was so fun. I still pick it up every now and then to blow through some time trials. It’s incredible.
_I remember being so excited for the touryst, brought it on launch, spent a couple hours on it & never played it again. But hearing it come up here...I'm gonna give it another play_
Goblin Sword. That's the most fun I've had with a 2D platformer in years aside from the non-hidden gems like Hollow Knight, Shovel Knight, etc. Also, the devs have updated the graphics for the Switch version.
If anyone has not yet played I Am Dead, Alpaca Allstars, CrownTrick, and Roki, I highly recommend all of them.

I 100% recommend "The Touryst" and "Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair"
Quell from the Nintendo Shop was available on the Nintendo Switch Eshop before the video was available. The gameplay is very fun to figure out, and the game even has the solutions for the puzzle solutions built in to the game; that you can use anytime if you are stuck.
I don't know how well known/popular but Hollow Knight is SUCH A BRILLIANT GAME
its a metroidvania (the first one I've played)
the art style is great, the gameplay is fun and addictive and although it's a bit difficult (mostly the bosses
* cough * *broken vessel* * cough *) it's super satisfying when you finally get past an area or best a boss that was giving you trouble

I’m on the Switch eshop..and I can’t seem to find “LOVE” at all?? Was it removed?
Edit: It’s on there..but even specifically typing in “LOVE” I had to scroll really far down to find it. Damn that’s frustrating.

Horizon Chase Turbo is my favorite underrated/unnoticed Switch game. It’s highly reminiscent of classic racing titles such as Outrun, Top Gear and Ridge Racer. There’s so much to unlock, and the multiplayer mode is great as well, serving as a great alternative to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, because we all know we’ve played it to death by now.
I love that Two Point Hospital's background music is playing. That music is comforting and relaxing.
The Takeover. It got overshadowed by Streets of Rage 4 and I’ve found very few people have heard of it.
Thank you so much for giving Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair some love Alex. It’s an amazing game, I had no idea they updated the impossible lair. I had 75 attempts when I played it last year ha.

@@Pantano63 they now have an option where the impossible lair now has checkpoints after each section.
To quote german Videogame Journalist Benjamin Kegel on Fast RMX regarding it's Difficulty:
"Fast RMX is widely regarded to have steep learning curve, but it doesn't. It has a learning wall. It's hard to climb, but fun doing so."
I've just started playing the final one mentioned here a few days ago. And now, I can't seem to put my Switch down. 😂

Fast RMX also has some really good music. Watch the launch trailer for Fast Racing NEO, which is the Wii U version.

Aegis Defenders. Top 10 Switch game. Everybody needs to play it.
I love it, but it gets very, very hard to manage at a point and I just stopped.

Yooka and the impossible lair is fantastic, love the overworld, hope they make more of them
For the point and click Adventure game lovers is the raven remastered a really nice title. The graphics are so so and the controls you need to learn a bit but the story is great. And because the puzzles are not that hard you could go through this sort of Agatha Christie game in quite a fast pace. It's a really nice title and underated.
I don’t hear Unepic get talked about enough. It came out on switch and Wii U, I’d actually recommend the Wii U version for its 2 screens but the Switch version is still a blast
The Touryst looks like an open world 3D Dot Heroes which From Software needs to bring back it would fit perfectly on Switch....

Nexomon: Extinction - a game in the same genre as Pokemon but stands out in all the right ways
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom - a metroidvania with a beautiful artstyle and an even better soundtrack

I love Superliminal! There is no way to describe it, the best way to understand it is to either play it, or watch it.
Yooka Laylee is the only 1 on this list that I own, and I haven't played a single one on this great list.

Manifold Garden. Was released recently on Switch. Almost more of an experience than a game.

HYPERCHARGE Unboxed. FPS/Tower Defense like game in wich you're battling hordes of vintage toy's. It was a temporarily console exclusive for the Switch I think and it has demo available on the èShop. Full disclosure, I haven't purchased the game yet, I have it on my radar/wish list since it was available for pre-order. Seems fun and I enjoyed the demo.
Have people played CrossCode? It's an Action RPG with lots of puzzles and Zelda-style dungeons. The more I play, the more I'm enamoured and want to play more.
I heard when it first came out on switch it had some issues, have those all got patched out?
@@Gudamangipo just finished the game last 2 days on switch and aside from framedrops in select areas..the game is the best game I played in a long while.
@@Gudamangipo Pretty much, it's more than playable performance wise. Though I think there's probably a fair bit of room for improvement in Gia's Garden.

Should give ROLLING GUNNER and MOON some attention. Both are masterpieces and severely underrated.

The last campfire and the garden between are high on my list of gems! The impossible lair was great like it better then DK not because it was better but because it's not just a retread of a old game DK needs to do more next time around.

Fast Racing Neo is a freaking awesome game.
Blazing Beaks is an amazing roguelike and if you liked Enter The Gungeon you should check it out.
Please talk about GRIP, that racing game is really good, is an spiritual succesor to Rollcage 1 & 2 (PS1 / PC)

Once again, no one ever mentions Super Daryl Deluxe. A terrific metroidvania that seems like a cross between Beavis + Butthead and Looney Tunes. Super fun game and visually neat! Currently 50 percent off as well!..
Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure is a great title and it's 90% off for $2 so it's worth a buy imo

Co-op? It's a racing game, not sure how you could play cooperatively.... If you mean local multiplayer, you can play split screen. The game's an absolute blast
