I haven't watched 'The Killer' yet, but I find your comments on the sound design to have been very inciteful. Sound design is a vital aide in on-screen storytelling, and is sometimes overlooked in discussions of film-making. So, this video is a welcome, and intelligent commentary, helping inform and emphasize an important aspect of film-making to your audience. Thank you, and well-done. :)

I saw this video on the home page❤ The thumbnail hooked me👏 then I saw it was your video! I thoroughly enjoyed the film in large part due to the excellent sound design. Fassbender’s performance is subtle allowing the audience to put themselves in the killer’s shoes. I’ll have to watch The Killer with headphones cause I always enjoy a more immersive experience.
Early on one line almost took me out of the movie, “What Would John Wilkes Booth Do?” That line felt non authentic to me but I loved the movie! Superb Video Mason! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much, Colin! There were definitely some weird lines there, but when I started looking at it as this parody/satire type of thing, it made more sense to me.

it's deliberately not good enough, Fincher has his hands on every aspect of his craft, I don't think any of it was a mistake. The post production material camera shake, very generic story. Fincher may be battling with the idea of himself in his head of being a perfect director, and just to break it... he does this.

I thought the movie was okay. The anticlimactic ending kinda ruined it for me
