When I was young we had a long lost technology. The radiator-less engine. They had their quirks but as long as you kept moving they worked fine. I know everyone is saying "water cooled engines make more power", but you should ride a Yamaha 490 air cooled dirt bike and then complain about a lack of power. Water jackets take up port space and add weight. Water cooled is better and increases reliability, I know. Just sayin'. The radiators look fine, and without them I couldn't call it a water buffalo. Just kidding, nice build and one of the lightest builds ever!
@@stevenpleasant5834 I consciously opted for 2WD. that saves half the weight. a second motor also means a controller and battery pack. and that is exactly the heaviest part of the entire vehicle

Nice little build there. But it is obvious that you didn't plan or design it out from the start. A bit of stress analysis would have shown up a couple of issues - aluminium is not very stiff, and flexes a LOT more than steel. So i hope you don't run into suspension mount cracking issues later on. Otherwise I can see a lot more welding in your future. (Chasis design can be a tricky thing...)
Great buggy build, thing is sweet!! Only critique; Music was a bit much, and would of liked to to of heard more on performance and seen more driving footage.
@@lillekenatnek195 jawel, maar heb dat ding gebouwd voor een evenement afgelopen maart. Toen werkte hij nog niet goed. Dus aankomende winter haal ik hem weer op, komt er betere aandrijving op en een rolkooi. En dan zou hij heel goed moeten rijden
@@ABCustomsmaar als je hem toch nog gaat verbouwen, kun je er dan nog zo'n zelfde motor (en controller) op zetten, zodat ieder achterwiel zijn eigen motor heeft? Ene Marty T (met gelijknamig TH-cam-kanaal) heeft een jaartje geleden een quad geëlektrificeerd, door er 2 hubmotoren (met eigen controller, 1 gashendel en 1 accupack) op te zetten. Vraag me even niet naar de exacte cijfers, maar op papier heeft ie nu ietsje minder pk's/kW's, maar in de praktijk is de topsnelheid ietsje hoger. Daarnaast is de wendbaarheid bij lage snelheden zoveel beter, dat z'n vrouw bij de eerste proefrit al besloot dat het haar quad is. Beide achterwielen een eigen elektromotor is echwel véél beter dan een starre achteras èn een differentieel bij elkaar opgeteld! Waarschijnlijk zelfs beter dan limitedslip-differentieel. @@TerrorTubbie666 ik snap je punt, maar op een aantal punten is dat onhaalbaar. Punt 1 nog een motor plus controller en accu pakket betekent €2500 Punt 2 gewicht. Het geheel wordt dan bijna dubbel zo zwaar En punt 3 ruimte. Dat ga je nooit kwijt kunnen in dit kleine frame. Met de juiste verhouding en tune gaat deze buggy ook heel hard lopen. Aankomend jaar bij tech beach moet hij perfect zijn!
@@Ghost_Alfa Can you explain to me why you think that is dangerous? Suppose a battery catches fire, this almost always happens while charging, not while discharging. so I don't see any major dangers

And I'm not complaining I'm just mentioning the music cause my anxiety act up so I turned the sound completely off how to pause the video every time you have the caption below I'm just saying it would be appreciated if you would just narrate what you want to say over the music This Way a handicapped person such as I can enjoy the video to his full extent.
