@@FakeCip it smell really like every other cheap pafuem and lasts like 5 mins. Iam not an expert but this ist clearly a fake fragrance. I dont think the box and the bottle are original. They are just a really good copy of the orginal.
@@FakeCip Precisely why both empty bottles and boxes are for sale on Ebay. Anyone selling those must know what they are supporting. The best you can do is 1) know the juice and hope for no reformulation 2) expect perfect cellophane 3) demand a perfect box that has no signs of being opened before 4) make sure the straw is completely empty to indicate it hasn't been sprayed... not even a droplet.
I totally believe that there are counterfeit colognes out there. However nothing in this video taught me, as a consumer oh, how to spot a counterfeit from a real one. It was just a pair of random hands moving a couple of boxes around and if there was a point to that like if one box was bigger than the other or darker than the other there should have been some voiceover telling me what to look for.
i mean unless you are literally blind or braindead you should still be able to tell some of the differences and what to look for. yes it would be better if there was a voiceover but i dont agree that this video doesnt teach anything at all. just look at the color and the font of the two and you will be able to tell the two biggest differences.

I just bought mine online. The box is similar to original except the lines on the sides are visible and not subtle. The bottle itself, it has bee logo on the inside of the cap. The CD on top of the spray also is not CD like the counterfeit. But the CD on the bottom of the bottle is not aligned with the writing in front of the bottle. In the video it's vertical, mine is horizontal.
Simply look at the cap, the logo on the cap must be facing the front logo in the bottle, thanks to the magnet. Unlike the fake one that the cap can be rotating and doesn't have a specific place or direction. I hope you got it xd

So... Dior Eu De Toilette actually use to have white text on box before they released Eu De Parfum and Parfum. But they changed it to make it easier to tell the difference between Eu De Parfum and Toilette. The White text is to encourage consumers to visually pick the more expensive over the one you can barely read from the shelf. (But two different scents too). Just buy directly from an instore retailer, less likely to find a fake.

hello ... the smell of a fake perfume does not persist for 20 minutes .... more recently I noticed that they buy original empty bottles together with their boxes and fill it with counterfeit juice .... a test can be done on the mirror. ... it is sprayed on the mirror ... if it is fake everything evaporates there is nothing left ... if it is orifinal the small essence bubbles remain ...... anyway an intense hugo boss bootle perfume persists for at least 24 hours on clothes ... it's very strong.

What can make it tricky is that the authentic manufacturers are not perfectly consistent for many reasons, especially over time. Being a designer, certain details of quality and elegance are important to Dior like the fine/consistent etching on the bottom of the bottle, the fact that the text on the cap, front of the bottle and CD logo on the bottom of the bottle are all facing forward, the quality of the fonts, the glass seam on the top of the bottle being polished down, etc. Everything on mine (9D06, also a 2019 bottle like yours) checks out except the following; 3:43 The lid flap on mine is rounded like your fake, but has the press marks like your real, probably where the folding machine grasps it. 5:29 Once the insert is removed, the inside of my box is black like your fake and does not have those fine lines. That last one surprises me because it seems like a detail they would want to keep since it's consistent with the lines in the cap and outside of the box. I think they chose to cut cost there, because who removes the insert to inspect the inside of the box? Most people just throw it away upon opening it, but my batch was made before yours, so maybe they have different manufacturers.

I have a real one. Everything matches the same. The color, the numbers on the box and a bottle. Inside the cap is a fly, just like on the top of the box when opened 🙂. I mean for a price of €97 for 100ML it can't be fake. Nice video to spot this 👍
Yeah, well I paid around that same price and recieved a fake one a few months back..Luckily, I am able to get a refund since it was from a third party through Walmart. I was shocked. I had it for a while but still hadn't finished my sample of the EDP..So when I finally got around to spraying it for the first time, it smelled god awful. My lesson learned- Never buy from ValentinePerfumes LLC!

I think it's pretty obvious because I have two bottles of Dior Sauvage I bought at Ulta and Sephora. Both have NO clear plastic sprayer stem extending down into the bottom of the bottle like the fake one does. I was really searching for a video that explains HOW the Dior Sauvage sprayer works with NO STEM! I have 15 to 20 bottles of EDT/EDP and Dior Sauvage is the only one that has a stemless design. Prada and MFK have these mini stems. How does these work at all??? (especially once the bottle gets low) :)

Umm so I have a question, I got my EDP on e-bay, unfortunately due to covid I had to order the perfume online. First of all, I can see the tube fairly easily, second thing, I do have a batch code on the bottom but it is not engraved onto the bottle it is just printed on their just like the rest of the text, third thing is that when I turn the cap it lifts due to the magnets. I also have a bee on the inside of the cap, the one I have also sprays very well and the sprayer has the "original" Christian Dior logo on it. But I also am worried that it is a fake because I've noticed that the letters on the cap are easily scrapeable, the bee on the box that the bottle came in was just slightly off-centre, and as I already said the tube is very easy to spot when you put the bottle up to the light. Am I just over-concerned or is my version fake ? Ps. I can't go to a perfumery right now to check if the scent is the same as a store-bought one because of restrictions.

Gustavo Rodríguez I really like both, no joke. The EDP I use it when I go out to dinner with my fiancé or any formal occasion, the EDT I love to use it during the day, when I visit any of my friends or family ect. But both are a master piece. You’ll get 7-9 plus hours of performance. Not bad.

I checked mine, it has everything same as you original in the video except for the number engraving at the bottom of the bottle. My bottom has no number on it.
I bought both but ended buying more and more fake 1 since I'm a little smart in managing my money. The smell actually the same, the different is the bottle, and the durability. As for the price, you will findout the cheap one never let you down easily.

So if mine is genuine then I give 1 out of 10 for how long the aroma lasts - as an example, when I got home from work tonight, I sprayed 5 blasts on my arm. 3 hours later, if I wave my arm past my nose a few inches or about 5cm away there's nothing, if I press my nose on my arm and sniff, there's a faint smell of something? I paid £55 for 60ml 3 days ago from a reputable company - I knew I should have stuck with Brut 33, at £1.99 the aroma lasts 10 times longer.

@@FakeCip Naw.. U got to be in oz. I just bought a new 3.4 oz bottle today . In grams it would be 325-325 with the cap. In ounces it would be 11.5 oz with the cap. The cap would be 1.2 oz. Of course I take into account that our scales are different and that my parfum is the eau de parfum. Where as your is the toilette spray oil difference there.
Damn bought one online. It looks legit until i checked the opening of the box 1. The box has no bee engraved in it. But the cap/lid has it. 2. The "CD" on button for the sprayer literally has space between the letters. 3. The bottom of the bottle looks legit just like in the video, but it doesn't have the serial number? That was engraved under the box. Damn, i was so happy then when i found out that it was fake, it made me sad lmao. It smells good tho, not sure if the original when smells much better. Sighs.
Serial number from the bottom of the botle should be identical with the from the box bottom. I am really sorry that you bought a fake but on the future pay attention to what I advised you. Cheers.
@@koshishko28 i sprayed some on my shirt at 12 p.m, and it's still there at around 6-ish but it was faint. It smells good, i mean i like it. It has that faint peppery and fresh smell, if yknow what i mean. For me, it smells better after 30 minutes or an hour of spraying it on you. 😁

Being a designer, certain details of quality and elegance are important to Dior like the fine/consistent etching on the bottom of the bottle, the fact that the text on the cap, front of the bottle and CD logo on the bottom of the bottle are all facing forward, the quality of the fonts, the glass seam on the top of the bottle being polished down, etc. Everything on mine (9D06, also a 2019 bottle like yours) checks out except the following; 3:43 The lid flap on mine is rounded like your fake, but has the press marks like your real, probably where the folding machine grasps it. 5:29 Once the insert is removed, the inside of my box is black like your fake and does not have those fine lines. That last one surprises me because it seems like a detail they would want to keep since it's consistent with the lines in the cap and outside of the box. I think they chose to cut cost there, because who removes the insert to inspect the inside of the box? Most people just throw it away upon opening it, but my batch was made before yours, so maybe they have different manufacturers.

Yeah, well I paid around that same price and recieved a fake one a few months back..Luckily, I am able to get a refund since it was from a third party through Walmart. I was shocked. I had it for a while but still hadn't finished my sample of the EDP..So when I finally got around to spraying it for the first time, it smelled god awful. My lesson learned- Never buy from ValentinePerfumes LLC!

I think it's pretty obvious because I have two bottles of Dior Sauvage I bought at Ulta and Sephora. Both have NO clear plastic sprayer stem extending down into the bottom of the bottle like the fake one does. I was really searching for a video that explains HOW the Dior Sauvage sprayer works with NO STEM! I have 15 to 20 bottles of EDT/EDP and Dior Sauvage is the only one that has a stemless design. Umm so I have a question, I got my EDP on e-bay, unfortunately due to covid I had to order the perfume online. First of all, I can see the tube fairly easily, second thing, I do have a batch code on the bottom but it is not engraved onto the bottle it is just printed on their just like the rest of the text, third thing is that when I turn the cap it lifts due to the magnets. I also have a bee on the inside of the cap, the one I have also sprays very well and the sprayer has the "original" Christian Dior logo on it. But I also am worried that it is a fake because I've noticed that the letters on the cap are easily scrapeable, the bee on the box that the bottle came in was just slightly off-centre, and as I already said the tube is very easy to spot when you put the bottle up to the light. Am I just over-concerned or is my version fake ? Ps. I can't go to a perfumery right now to check if the scent is the same as a store-bought one because of restrictions.

Gustavo Rodríguez I really like both, no joke. The EDP I use it when I go out to dinner with my fiancé or any formal occasion, the EDT I love to use it during the day, when I visit any of my friends or family ect. But both are a master piece. You’ll get 7-9 plus hours of performance. Not bad.

So if mine is genuine then I give 1 out of 10 for how long the aroma lasts - as an example, when I got home from work tonight, I sprayed 5 blasts on my arm. 3 hours later, if I wave my arm past my nose a few inches or about 5cm away there's nothing, if I press my nose on my arm and sniff, there's a faint smell of something? I paid £55 for 60ml 3 days ago from a reputable company - I knew I should have stuck with Brut 33, at £1.99 the aroma lasts 10 times longer.

Damn bought one online. It looks legit until i checked the opening of the box 1. The box has no bee engraved in it. But the cap/lid has it. 2. The "CD" on button for the sprayer literally has space between the letters. 3. The bottom of the bottle looks legit just like in the video, but it doesn't have the serial number? That was engraved under the box.
