Yes, Same here. I like the little details like making sure that your left elbow drop to your hip so that the guy on top does not cross his elbow to the outside.
Pit stop, haven't heard it called that, but man do I love that position. So cool to see that many finishes there! I love using it. We do a side escape to armbar called a "black hole armbar" that one of our purple belts came up with. Side control escape (push-bridge), swing in knee shield and one leg over, sweep-armbar. It's pretty sweet.
Beautiful details thank you so much for sharing this video. A special thanks to you Sid, you deserve to be immortalized in a T-shirt, caption Reading: 'Oh no...'
Nice details like how to turn a bit sideways. Was trying this yesterday and had trouble trapping the arm properly so will try again today with turning a bit. Roger forgot to mention this detail even though he does do it himself clearly.
Is it possible to throw your left leg over his right shoulder before you throw your right leg under his armpit/over his back? To switch the order? Pros/cons? I teached this armbar in class the other day and I had this question from one of the students..
@@InvisibleJiuJitsu wow, thanks for the incredibly quick response! :-) Ok, I'll keep that in mind. I really didn't have a good answer for my student (which I hate), so had to check with the pros!
@@ivarkjerstad no problem! A good way to test stuff is to drill it with some resistance both ways. Use just enough resistance that it's challenging but not impossible. You'll quickly find out the pros and cons that way
It’s one thing to watch David in a video teach one technique or Submission lol but he does 5 from several angles lol 5 times several angles = lol 😂 Do the math ... Poor guy , Get that man some ice.. #Alabamawhitebelt

Excellent as always David, one question, when going for the arm bar,do you like to lift your hips to counter a possible stack attempt?
Yes! See my video on the penknife principle for more info on that 😀
Many thanks David,oss
@@hadidta you're welcome 😊
i heard you have to cross the feat if he start to stack you, to push him back. is that correct ?

I'd think you would lose the pressure to keep them angled off if they decided to push back into you if you reverse the legs :) good question
