The show itself does not mind using all types of Digimons you will see digimons that were from different shows,video games, and Manga. The plot so far are different from original show besides the first 3 episode which was basically reboot War games and Diaboromon was replaced with Argomon (Savers/data squad movie villain) the only "familiar" villain is Devimon coming back but his personality, motives, and goals are completely different from original villain. but if you are superfan of any other character besides Tachi you might get frustrated because the show is really tachi being the main character and others more the less treated as side characters and animation is all over the place. "brave heart" is not in the reboot it was replaced by 3 songs so far "be the winners", extreme fight, and "Break the chains". currently it at 37th episode and next Sunday going be the 38th episode.
Repearmon HAS to be the biggest troll out of all the Digimon! Whenever I'd get really close to beating him he'd spam his tornado attack and kill me... over... and over... and over again...
What about Neemon from DRA2? Or...do we not talk about the other games? (Personally, I don't remember much about the second game other than hating Neemon more than Reapermon.)

I remember... The things I have done for Shao- Sorry, wrong game. I remember reaching Reapermon's stage using Guilmon in my first ever play. This song played and I was so hyped! No matter how many times I lost against the final boss, I kept continuing and finally won after I knew how to beat it.
When I was a kid the fight with Reapermon mostly came down to keep away. Stay as far away as possible and use ranged attacks, then digivolve and ultimate attack right there. Then I found out each digimon had an easy win stunner combo with the hardest to pull off being Veemon's: Dash attack -> Vee headbutt -> Vee punch -> Windup punch (grab). Renamons was by far the easiest, Diamond Storm until he gets too close then throw attack, rinse reapeat.
@OmegaChosen0 I thought/hoped so too; but, after researching a bit, i found just he's just one of those digital world criminal kind of digimon and has nothing to do with the D-Reaper.
@GreenStache1 I found Reapermon easy with Wormmon. For some reason I only found the battle difficult with Reapermon when I was Agumon. Although I am pretty good with all characters and especially Agumon :P

Though technically that was Beelzemon Burst mode. Regular Beelzemon just has two shotguns instead of one massive cannon gun. Admittedly I didn't know that until MUCH much later.

@INCodiac Provide me with your sources and then come back to me. I have never heard of this. Armageddomon is the final form of the Kuramon line (Keramon, Chrysalimon, Infermon, Diaboromon etc). There is no other form it becomes after that (nor would it need to considering Armageddomon is insanely powerful). Reapermon is classified as a Mega, not a Super Ultimate. Very few Digimon have this level (e.g. Daemon and Arkadimon).
I love battling against Reapermon. Even Omnimon can have a hard time against him. I love playing as Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, Impmon, Stingmon, and Gatomon >_>.

Yeah, coz' all Wormmon's and Stingmon's attacks are for close combat. You can just blast Reapermon's ass with Renamon or Imperialdramon. I remember beating Reapermon with Worrmon once. Wasn't easy.
Reapermon is a joke in all other stages except for his own. his ultimate attack can eat 80 percent of your health and leave you with a stun....to which he will also combo you and finish you with a stun.....
Yes but he ISN'T the evolved form of Reapermon which is what you put earlier. He is still classified as a Mega as he is an alternate mega form of Kuramon's line. Diaboromon is the other Mega. There is nothing about Reapermon being able to become Armageddomon. And Imperialdramon Paladin Mode took down Armageddomon alone. Omegamon did very little damage and so did I-Dramon Fighter Mode. Hence is why Omegamon gave his power to I-Dramon in order to achieve Paladin Mode.
