I've been maining Ryu since 1992 (SF2). Like the character, the song has had its ups and downs, but I still can't get enough of the guy. Looking forward to what SF6 will bring. Because "the answer lies in the heart of battle." Let's go! 🥋

@@b.w.6919 That's a great question. So far, I feel like SF6 has the best, most well-rounded Ryu of all SF games. I think this is the best version of this character, and if you know what to do with him, he's a beast. I suppose all characters will be broken this first season (as they were in SFV's 1st season), but hopefully, they won't nerf him too badly in SF6 later on. But so far, he really is a fantastic character to play. Many options to choose from, very well-rounded, and can deal massive damage, and, most importantly: so FUN to play. If I'm being honest, I think the characters who will shine the most in SF6 are the grapplers, and I think Zangief will wreck everything in his path. But through the carnage, I will still be maining Ryu. I've been trying him out since the second beta was released, and he def. brought his A-game. Can't wait for the Open Beta to hit in just 2 days! "This will be a good fight!"
I like how the music changes the more RAM the chips had
Personally I think Smash has the best rendition of this theme. Maybe im just a sucker for Japanese sounding themes and it brings it along with it sounding retro.

It fits him exactly because it sounds Japanese. However, the Suzaku Castle stage theme from SF5 is right there with it.
It's not for nothing that the original composer of Street Fighter 2 made that song
Only Yōko Shimomura knows what Ryu's and Vega's themes should sound like in Smash
My personal top 4 favorites version of Ryu's theme are:
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (3DO)
Street Fighter 4
Super Smash Bros
Street Fighter 5
But the best in my opinion is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (3DO) and Street Fighter 5 theme. Those are two epic versions that, in my opinion, define Ryu himself, as an ultimate warrior.

Ryu's Street Fighter EX3 theme definitely tops them all. If you haven't heard it yet, be amazed.
My favourite is the SF II original. That Tune is epic!

his SF6 version might be my new favorite as it combines elements from Good Fighter, Kobu and his classic theme into one funky jam
In what ways? I thought it would was completely unique but maybe I missed something every time I listened to it.
@@GoldGuard It got some of that funky Jazz in some of the variations (Like Capcom vs SnK) and it's absoloute fire)

No, Ryu V.S Akuma is a very epic theme, but SFV is so much very epic.

I LOVE Street Fighter 6, do not get me wrong, but Viator does not come anywhere NEAR Ryu's SF2 theme

His SF5 is easily the most epic. PERIOD.
It's great, the only one you miss are the sf3 versions but the transitions are neat, it motivates you to train
Also missing "The road" from Alpha 3 and also Ryu's MVC1 theme (SF main theme), but this collection is based on his original theme and all it's variations.

I would have loved if you've included the one from SF Assassin's Fist track, but this was absolutely awesome
YES! I mean, this selection is really good (and the transitions! *chef's kiss*), but Patrick Gill's version just has this aura that pulls you in and makes you feel like you're actually training with Ryu.
Very good transition and order choice really appreciate the music, too bad u didn't include the Ryu theme on Power ranger battle grid, it's pretty good xD

You could be editing a player in a sports game, customizing your car in a racing game, picking clothes for a Sim, etc.
Sounds VERY much like the Metriod Prime, title screen music.

Amazing collection; however you're missing a couple of great renditions of this classic theme: 1) Ryu's theme from Tatsunoko VS Capcom OST (the Japanese version of the game from 2008) and 2) Ryu's theme from the Asura's Wrath DLC OST (2012).

The very best is xmen vs street fighter then you all can choose second picks. I mean this one has the combative spirit and calmness of Ryu and is more loyal to the original as it is an upgraded version of it.
