The fact that this sounds like a better put-together version of Fear of God, which is also a complete banger, really makes me appreciate how far Meguro has come in his work.
This theme goes freaking hard. Total banger and I can't wait for the entire OST! Meguro did it again, he managed to mix in sutras, vocalizations of the traditional Japanese songs, opera singing and classical crescendo. If you don't like this, your musical understanding is below zero.
Honestly prefer guitar battle themes like Sen no Kiseki IV's Burning Throb, Etrian Odyssey V's Battle 1, Digital Devil Saga 2's Battle for Survival, Shin Megami Tensei IV's Battle A3, etc. But in terms of orchestral battle themes, this is one of my favorites along with Octopath's battle themes.

This game is persona, no questions about it, follower = confident, protagonist have social stats like courage, archetype are simplified persona, there's weaknesses, time management is key, even the fast travel system is 1 to 1 to persona's fast travel.
