So I just bought a luminess airbrush, bc it was so highly rated. I don't LOVE the color selection but it's fine. Do you think you can use other brands with it? Do you have experience with luminess or other airbrush systems that you could give me some advice?
i Personally never picked one up honestly after Doing the research on the compressor i found that it wouldn't suit my needs. The stylus though is another story and will work with other brands. think using brands that have thinner formulas you should be good, when you start getting into thicker formulas i think you notice lack of a smooth spray. my recommendation to you is never use sb in that machine. kett wont go through it either, as for graftobian you should be good and dinair may be hit or miss depending on the formula. brands outside of those tend to have thinner formulas like the luminess ones so you should t have issues with those if you use the medium or high setting most likely high especially with shimmer shades. check out my friends video on the stylus she shows how it performs with other brands th-cam.com/video/--I0Iuz2k58/w-d-xo.html shes very well versed in multiple systems also and can provide a lot of insight as well.

Great video but I still didnt learn how to unclog my gun? Its clogged and I tried your tips and nothing
The water that you are using, can it be bottled drinking water?
Oh yeah that's the only water I use water from the tap especially where I live has too many minerals in it I'd hate for those to dry n collect inside my gun I believe the brands recommend that you use bottled water at least I know dinair does :)

Hi my din airbrush are clogging how can i back my gun smoothly
hello! so gun clogging could mean several things first i would clean the cup and flush out any debris it is important to always clean out the cup and nozzle for smooth application, then i would remove the front caps and nozzle and clean the needle tip, then if that doesn't work 9/10 times there is dried makeup , pigment, or glitter depending on what line you use in the needle housing/ nozzle so what i like to do is take a tiny synthetic brush soaked in cleaner and swirl it around in there then blow air through it you can even use small bristle brushes they sell for like baby bottle parts or straws they make them for airbrush maintenance as well dinair sells a set on their site those work great soaked to dislodge any build up. that should do it if ur still having trouble i would contact the brand customer service to send it in for a deep clean or locate a local re seller in my area and have them do the deep clean for you. i have a video on deep cleaning your airbrush but its a do at your own risk because it involves taking the airbrush apart completely and putting it back together. i hope this helps please let me know!
