I had an issue with a samsung tv. They were using OTA channels and every channel was the same. Asked them to send maintenance who came but didn't know how to get into the maintenance menu settings. So now when i go back in October hopefully i can rescan the channels.

So i changed every option back to how it was, but the normal tv channels dont work anymore and the customized menu doesnt show anymore. Any ideas on how to fix this?

this opens only the hospitality on/ off mode on the M 5400 you still can not access the settings,. Is there another code for that?? The factory white balance set at zeros has a green tint. I would like the internal factory set white balance readjusted so when set to zero on user white balance it is white, gray and black not green. You can offset this on standard by turning the green offset down 32 points and the blue up 30 for a normal white balance on standard only, dynamic locks you out of the white balance resulting in brighter with green distortion,. Maybe the panel is going bad, but my neighbor's N 5400 has a green tint on black and white movies. I personally do not like these Samsung 32" TVs.

Still working in 2023 - Holiday Inn has their TV's hdmi's software locked - just a black screen when you switch inputs. This bypassed that completely.

You have to press 1 2 3 4 later. I know its necro but maybe for anyone looking at this in the future will be useful to.
How to see the option of screen mirroring
This works for me and opens the menu but I can't scroll through any of the menu items (or they're greyed out, hard to tell). Any ideas?
Check in the back for network or telephone cable if you can. It could be controlled over the network. Try unplugging it....

Try to turn it off snd reboot your TV.
This is supposed to unlock the rest of the menu.
