    For that price of 9 million Naira per year for rent, is extremely expensive.

      @JD, Give it a rest , it's getting boring! All this, "Nigeria has no steady electricity ", info has been a successful campaign. The entire world is now aware that Nigeria has no steady electricity. But if the campaign was aimed, in some quarters, at demarketing, I don't believe it worked because on discovering that Nigeria has no steady electricity many around the world have responded that they too don't have steady electricity.

    I’d have to see it in the day and with more detailed look to decide if it’s worth it. That price is comparable to US prices( Google exchange rate) 😂 but I like that rooftop view.

    Great Stuff Bayo.
    I can see that there are many people who are shocked about the annual cost of rental of such apartment. But unknown to many, Lagos is just catching up with other major cities around the world. And its also about the location in Lagos. Prices will continue to rise, because of demand from businesses, tourism and diasporans moving in.
    This is the best time to invest in other up and coming areas, if that price is too much for anyone.

    • @davet9708

      Major city around the world, has excellent roads constant electricity, infrastructures.

    • @thenigeriannomad
      @thenigeriannomad  ปีที่แล้ว

      yep. prices will continue to rise as long as there is a high level of demand. regardless of infrastructure or anything else. I have to say lagos is still ahead in terms of infrastructure in Nigeria.

    • @rpo1574
      @rpo1574 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@davet9708 I guess that is why a quarterly cost of an apartment that size in Central London or New York, still costs the same as annually in Lagos. Those who know this fact and want in on Nigerian Real Estates are buying them up. I have followed the Lagos Market for sometime, five years ago that apartment would have costed half of the current price to buy. Business is Business... Less Sentiments.

      @@rpo1574 You can't compare lagos with London or New York, I sometimes travel to the poorest part of South East Asia, they have constant electricity and good roads, and cleaner.

    Pass on that one. It was very disorganized in the viewing, the space was very little. You couldn't really see anything, esp in that little bity exercise room. Also, looks like it's in the middle of the hood. I understand you close to things but I bet you there are nicer areas closer to things. The viewing is your omen that it will be a disorganized mess living there.
