    Great video, perhaps will try next trip to Boracay, seems perfect for those that has been to Boracay a few times before and stay at a completely new location, beach looks really nice too. And some shopping and good restaurants as well., A good tip is if your going to Boracay for say a week, pick two completely different places to stay for two very different experiences 🙂

      It's a bit more out of the way. Makes for an alternative to White Beach. It's an upcoming area. My next video is going to be on another Beach in Boracay for another alternative to White Beach.

    Again, a terrific video as you know what travellers want.
    It's great that you compare room types such as The Belmont's corner rooms, and give us cogent reasons why you prefer The Savoy over The Belmont. Based on what you've shown of the pools and the breakfasts, this is logical.
    You commented about the winds on that side of Boracay having dropped by May 2024, meaning that June to October is perhaps best for staying at these hotels. This is also the Habagat rainy season though. At any time, thanks to the free shuttles, it's easy to go to White Beach.
    On my last visit to Boracay a couple of years ago, tricycles typically charged P150 each way so the P250 you were quoted outside The Belmont is (as you stated) an exaggerated fare.

      Thanks Edmund. If you want swim here it is calmer during the wet season but you do have to deal with more likelihood of rain. With that price that's why the tricycle didn't want to be on camera!

    I was going to stay at Bellmont but the smell from the supplies to clean the room were so strong I just couldn't do it. Ended up at Banana Bay which although small was nice.

      When I stayed I had no issues with smells. I will be doing Banana Bay in my next video.

    Rob you just solved the biggest mystery from our last trip to Boracay for me 😂 I remember riding a scooter past the Savoy hotel and seeing a sign on an unopened storefront that said, “100% Chingon coming soon”. Right above the words was a picture of guy in a lucha libre (Mexican pro wrestling) mask. I’m half Spanish/Mexican and my mind short-circuited because I couldn’t figure out what that store was going to be and why it was in the quiet side of Boracay, Philippines 😂 It just looked so out of place! Once you started talking about the Mexican restaurant, and then I saw the picture of the luchador (wrestler) on the wall, the mystery was solved! I know this is so random, but I literally laughed out loud when I saw it in your video!
    Aside from all that, thanks for the review! I really like that poolside bar at the Savoy, I’d love to stay there on our next trip. Cheers my friend 🍻

      Wow that's a crazy ! That was the only Mexican place I tried out. It wasn't so busy when I went but I guess as Newcoast grows in the coming years it will get more foot traffic. I know there's another in the d'mall which I didn't get the chance to check out.

      @@FindingParadise I liked that area, it was quiet and beautiful. I’m sure once the housing development starts getting populated it will get more lively.

    hi your vedio is very helpful to me! savoy hotel mactan vs cebu white sands ,which one will you choose?(for kids and convenience)

    • @FindingParadise
      @FindingParadise  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks. Cebu White Sands is an older resort but it is ok, it's got a pool and a small average beachfront. Savoy is a newer hotel. The beach is a little bit of a walk (or use their free transfer). It is a hotel though so you don't have that "resort" vibe. It has a mix of leisure and business travellers while White sands it's more laid back with holiday makers. So depends on what you're looking for.
