First of all, thank you for your service, Brother. Second of all, try getting into bow hunting by looking to purchase a used bow from someone. The used bow will allow you to see if you actually like it before spending a bunch of money before getting out. Bow hunting is fun. This is my first year bow hunting and I've been having a good time.
Now to your train question.
When you're in the train the front of the train is absorbing the wind resistance so when you jump you are in the same spot. Outside of the train, there is nothing to shield you from the wind so that pushes you back. It's like when you stick your hand out the window of your car.
We got a flair In the training he may start other stuff than fishing just merge off like flair did.

How about a " LIVE BAIT FISHING OBSTACLE COURSE!"
Pick a lake/pond you know has 5+ lbs fish, grab 1 or 2 buddies, pick out 3 spots of the lake/pond to use as THE ONLY SPOTS TO CATCH THE BIGGEST BIGGINS!
(RULES)
1- each player (2-3) chooses a live bait of their own (cant have the same bait as others)
2- only fish the 3 designated spots of the body of water
3- each player has THEIR OWN scale
4- biggest biggin wins
With the skills you must have developed over 12 years, your camping challenge should be 1 tarp, 1 knife, 1fire starter/striker, 1 rod and reel and 1 bag of worms, you can take water, but you can only eat what you catch. Best of luck future come April too👍

I'm just now getting into bow hunting haven't actually gone bow hunting with it yet but I've been shooting in the yard for as while and I love it I've been modern gun hunting for deer for a while but bow hunting just gonna be so much fun + the bow seasons are no joke about 5x longer
Yes please get into bow hunting. You need patience and a lot of time to practice. But it is so fun. I would recommend starting off with a Bear Cruzer because it’s a good beginning bow and then if you like it get a Hoyt. I would love to see you start bow hunting or even practicing

I’m relatively new to archery hunting and I would say if you are getting into it you might want to start off with a cross bow considering that they are much simpler and easier to use and learn than a regular bow.

YakPak I'm fairly new to the channel and love all your content, maybe you've done this before in the past but you should do some subscription box reviews and challenges, MTB, MONSTERBASS, ETC keep grinding and tight lines
20 dollar clearance at bass pro is pretty unbeatable. I love to clearance shop there this time of year. Walmart is always "low" prices very seldom on sale

Love the camping idea bud. Wal Mart gear is cheap and will get ya started but dont rely on it. Check out Joe Robinet and Corporals Corner. There also Nicholas Greene outdoors. Juat a few of my favorites

Hunting is fun.For a good starting bow.You should get a Hoyt they have really good bows for anyone.
Yak pak/TJ bow hunting is a good hobby but the first thing you need to do is go out in the woods in a blind or in a stand and scout and see if you can wait for 5 to 6 hours in the morning by the way you have to wake up a at 4 in the morning and be out there at 5 then come back at 10 and then go back out at 1 and wait till the sun sets and if you can handle that you go get a bow and arrows with broad heads. *pro tip pack heavy* 🙂🙃
Could you take some time and elaborate more on your transition from being active duty to civilian. Coming from a fan that is currently active duty in Marine Corps and is getting out soon. Bow hunting is fun. I enjoy on rainy days to spot and stalk deer but also sitting in a climber (tree stand) and hunting.

One thing that you showed that many people don't realize but should is when picking out baits it not what you do like its it's what the fish like. Notice how many baits you picked out that you sounded like you had no confidence in. Another point should be made is you don't have to buy $25.00 baits to catch fish. Like my dad always told me. You can catch fish on any bait on some given day.

Bear bows tend to be a bit cheaper I dont know a lot about how hunting but I do know that you don't need a $800 bow to kill something with.
Get a good stabilizer for the bow. Bow hunting is great.
Hey just a suggestion re-up into the reserves join a unit and finish for 8 more years retire at 20 years total service and make over 1000 dollars a month at age 60. I did and I'm glad I did

I personally love those yum crawfish creature bait for finicky bass. Plus I found some of those tequila shad worms in a old tacklebox. When i can’t get bites, those tequila shad work
I love archery hunting and to me is worth every penny. I live in Arizona and have killed 2 Javelina and a mule deer in 2 years. Its so exciting when you try getting close to the animals and a challenge.
I do traditional bow hunting you should try it its such an adrenaline rush and cool experience
For hunting I would tell you to get a Mathews 100%
Also it is fun and it’s not like a gun where your carrying it and then you gotta get in your tree stand and then get out... basically bows are good and I would love to see some hunting videos

It’s bc when you’re standing on top of the train the wind pushes you back when you jump unlike inside there is no wind so you land in the same spot.
I served 12 in the army also and have been medically retired for 6 ... its definitely different. But you got this shit brother! To easy! Your drive alone will flourish!
