    Head injuries scare me the most. TBI's are so unpredictable. We had friends who's son had one after falling in a grain silo. It was a miracle that he survived and seemed okay. Then psychological issues started showing up. He wasn't himself. They struggled to get his meds right. Last time they changed his meds... Well he and his entire family are no longer living. So tragic. Only his older brother and grandma survived. Sister mom dad and himself.

It came and went and she didn't tell me for 3 days. I called an ambulance the moment i found out. When she arrived at the hospital they immediately took her to surgery and did a quadruple bypass. I think once you're past the most acute emergency, home is usually better for recovery. You sleep so much better at home and can have quiet and calm and familiar things and familiar food. So as soon as you're well enough that it's safe to go home and you don't need intense medical care, it often makes more sense, as long as you have enough support at home to help with your basic needs.

    "When you're seriously ill, it's important for family to be there." Well, my dad is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's & my sister disowned me bc I told the truth about my mother fat-shaming me when I was younger. I hadn't realized that Mom had become St. Judith when she died! It's my life story & I have the right to share it or not. My sister has also disowned my father & she moved out of state, so she doesn't have to bother with us. I'm surprised she hasn't changed her phone number, but then she's blocked me, so she wouldn't have to. I have no idea what my niece is doing; she could have gotten married for all I know! So I'm always alone when I have to go to the hospital & if it's bad news, I have to deal with it on my own. Frankly, my mother would be appalled at my sister's choices!

      I assume you mean "cat," but her cat panicked and can't be held responsible. I got a nasty bite when I had to free my cat from a defective cat door that squashed his paw. He was the most mellow cat normally, but he was in agony and went berserk. As for cars, they do a lot more damage than cats . . .

    • @anglepsycho
      @anglepsycho 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      Love can be in multiple styles, including being around each other without contact.
      I'm autistic and my family and current partner know I can't do body contact for too long cause it feels awful after a while. But they still know I love them. So you saying that is really weirdly basic. :/

      When I’m sick or unwell, the last thing I want is my family or partner touching me. It’s too much stimulation. Everyone shows their love differently. Just being there to talk is all that some people need.

      Cat scratches like what she has are life threatening! As in if you don’t get IV antibiotics you will develop sepsis. She already had cellulitis which is the first stages of staph or strep infection. That develops into what they refer to the flesh eating virus at the stage where it reaches the deep tissue to bone then it enters the bloodstream becoming sepsis. Sepsis can go from you look ok and have a temp to dead within hours not days or weeks
