I can appreciate that boxing out is more important than ever, but it’s too much
The things about offensive boards that makes it feel better than defensive rebounds is that when you're on defense you're always trying to hold the box out, but there is a pretty significant difference between the animations you get when you're boxing out, versus when you're sprinting and jumping for a board. I feel like 80 vert is a must for boards bc I have 77 on my jokic build and I’m getting outboarded with hof rebound chaser and box out beast
Hell yea 80-83 is definitely a threshold to get those snags
78 is more than enough lol
Maybe we need stats on effectiveness and not animations tests ...no?
I really feel that anybody with good offensive rebond Can push me and grab my Ball as I have 85 d rbd
In the same time...with légende rbd and 96 off I grab a lot of rebound ....
Anyone else have a harder time then they should getting rebounds on a small center? I have 99D n 90O with 90vert and 96strength but i barely can swim around defenders and my player barely jumps for ball
Can you please do rise up!! Or physical finisher
Yall can keep your 99 O board and 85 D board..
I'm going 99 D board and 85 O board to neutralize you
What r the other animation threshold
Test the attributes boost you get from two way tenacity
is r2 + square better than triangle?
Do they animation differences only go up to 79?
its flawed bc what is your vertical?? vert matters for stuff like this
WHERES THE REST OF THE JUMPSHOT BASE TESTS? 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
If they’re equal o board is better cause it’s cheaper
Can we do box out assist and settings
You*
Seems like vertical affects rebounding. Wonder if wingspan will affect it as well 😂
Now why wouldn’t you think Vertical wouldn’t affect it y’all he tripping 😂
@@3CH0Finesseexactly, there is literally a badge called horse that boost rebound and vert
the description of the vertical attribute literally says it unlocks dunking and rebound content you buffoon
@@3CH0Finesse Makes perfect sense vertical would affect rebounds but some of us are coming back to 2k after a few years where all that mattered were badges and animation requirements. Physicals never really changed much other than speed.
@ no every year in 2k vertical or played a role in rebound. I’ve played every year and I know for a fact you ain’t getting no rebounds if you don’t have vert even at 7’ you’d still get horsed. Shi I’m 6’7 horsing footers all day. But I have a high vertical and high rebound.
I go 99 oboard because i dont play with alot of knockdown shooters
It’s hard to test the other rebound animations, way too many variables. I do notice I get terrible animations when someone has higher rebound chaser badge in my vicinity. Also if your box out beast is low you get wormed or extremely delayed jumps . But even with out box out animation you’ll rebound chaser gets negated when there is a higher one nearby
Rebound chaser is useless this year, i feel like it dont work the same.
Far from truth.
I average 25 boards on my center in rec.
Legend Rebound go crazy + vert go crazy
@DreDaGodSon I also get 15-20 boards a game I'm referring to the functionality and I also have it on legendary still don't feel any different from hof or even gold
Can someone please do a box out beast test
Ppl are copying presets and have there off reb at 99 and def reb 94-96….
Goat mannnn
Thanks for the support!
Dwayne Wade base please day 6
motion styles
Put a Rebound Takeover on
EASY
Rebounds will also determine on other badges like box out beast and imovable enforcer from what I see and height too
Would you test mascots for attribute boost(speed, vertical, ball handle, strength, dunk, jump shot)
Stop we already know this means nothing
That wasn't your greatest work lol hopefully you go more in depth in the future
Why do someone have 96 vert lol😂
U didnt answer anything that was asked
Misleading thumbnail imo. I thought this was O board vs D board.
that's actually what it was. Watch the video
I thought you were going to tell us which is better, o board vs d board. Not both o board and d board gets this animation. All good tho
Keep in mind, you are getting snagged over constantly it’s matter of: first positioning, second rating offensive/ defensive rebounding and third but not lastly vertical. This is why most center run the horse takeover.
Cap I have an 85 rebound chaser and snag over 99 and legend rebound chasers
the only reason folks think o board is op is because everybody uses 94-99 o board and will have 79-88 d board. obviously its going to feel super strong because your opponent has 82 d board!
This, thank you, that’s why it’s even more important to have high D board to negate that 99 o board build
This
@@francismartino6890 for me after overthinking it for days I ended up going 96 defensive 85 offensive considering offensive rebound are situational if ur teammate misses which defensive is more needed to guarantee the stops .. it’s hard to pick but that’s my reason
Shoot some shots n get the rebound then show anumations
that can't produce accurate results. There's a lot of randomness on where the ball will ricochet....that can produce a lot of margin of error on the test
@nba2ktutes okok i was like i know 2ktutes aint just sell , thanks for all your hard work
O rebound is better
First appreciate tutes
Thanks for the support!
Man you can be more detail in these videos. Make them longer and explain in-depth. What about being on the offensive side of the ball vs defensive??? What about vertical and how does each rebound type compare Etc..quality over quantity mn
what your are suggesting could take nearly a day to have accurate results.
tutes is a known lazy youtuber who refuses to go in depth
@@nba2ktutes yes releasing a quality video naturally would take more time. But thanks for your vids anyway.
@@Deepcoolwaters Thanks for the appreciation. It's not just about "spending more time to have more quality". In content creation there's a lot of moving variables. There will be topics that yeah I can still go deeper but the question is "is it worth the effort?". Lets say I got deeper in this vid and covered all the stuff that you mentioned, that will take me almost + 20-30 hours (to have an accurate result) just to cover that. So it means I won't have any video for the next 2-3 days just because i got deeper into one topic. There's a lot of things that are going on when running a channel or content creation in general.
@@Deepcoolwatersso true. I appreciate the vids but a lot off people puts DAYS into videos. If you could have something like this accurately figured out in only 1 that’s insane and would prob help a lot of ppl
First!!!
