i think the rug is fine, seems like most folks get too small a rug. should have 1 to 2 feet around the perimeter. like with a rug under a dining table rule of thumb there is the rug should reach out further just a bit when the chair is pulled out while having an adult in it. sometimes i see rugs so small they barely have the chairs on them when they are under the table.
The transition was incredible, feels so cozy and inviting. How about that view right outside their window?! Breathtaking! Also, I'm convinced you and Kyle could do your own home improvement/ house flipping show! You guys work so well together! Loved it!
I used to live in Montana, have a brother so all this was so heart warming . What a blessing to be able to do something for family. They were so sweet. May God continue to bless you all. I LOVE all your work.

I'm obsessed with the sliding door and when I move I am hoping to install one. Just a quick little question do you think you could do like a separate video on how to install a sliding door? Now I don't want you to buy a whole new door and install a new one just for the video but even just like a video of explaining steps how to do it and like measurements and everything because I would love to but I don't know if there's certain door frames we need or a certain measurement we're going to have to use with.

I love that you could do that for your brother and sister-in-law. I love the cube organizers. It is a great way to store your clothes or even toys if you have kids. This one has been my favorite makeover. You could see in their faces how much they appreciated it. ❤️
Love how the side tables turned out and tied into the pillows on the bed. He's going to have a gorgeous view from that table in the daytime. I think this one has been my favorite so far just because if the pure look of love and gratitude on your sister-in-law's face. It's obvious that this has been a long time coming for all of them but I'm sure she's especially felt the need for things to be more streamlined as momma and wife. To be able to do this for your brother and sister-in-law says alot about the love and trust in your relationship. He has done so much in the house, but needed that push to the finish. Yay for all of you.
You must measure everything to a "T" ! From every doorframe to every outlet, all your pieces always seem to fit like a puzzle. It's amazing and satisfying lol. I appreciate your duvet cover hack..I have a beautiful one that I got years ago and I might just put it on my bedset again. And I must say, the cubbies that you used in this farmhouse series were my favorite add-on. I love the look of them and they function so well, when I do my boys room in the spring, (they are 2.5 and 5.5 years old) they have such a tiny room, I think this will be a great idea instead of 2 dressers taking up space. Love the Poppyseed color as well. My sister just bought a home this summer and wants to do dark bottom cabinets in her kitchen with gold hardware and white cabinets on the top. I think this color would be amazing with the gold. I enjoyed this series very much. Your knack for decorating and functionality are the most impressive to me. This was my favorite. All of them were great, but the way your brother looks at your sister-in-law as she sees the bed he made for them and the room y'all did...made me cry. So sweet.
I live near the city for access to my doctors, but man, seeing the horses running around in the snow and all that big open space, I really wish I could live in the country. The room came out fantastic and it was so great seeing the happy tears at the end!
New here and cried like a baby for all 4 make overs. What a Blessings what u and ur husband did for ur niece, nephews, brother and sister-in-law!!!!! I think I may be hooked on this channel but also wishing so hard that I had someone in my life that cared enough to help me get my house done and all I want is help to clean and declutter it. Its been 4 yrs since I've been able to clean clean. Took my mother-in-law in 5 yrs ago with dementia and alzhermiers. I took care of her 24/7 for 4 yrs with no help and wow it way more then I could have ever imagined 2 yrs in I lost all friends and contact with the outside world and lost myself completely. Stopped cleaning, cooking, washing clothes, etc she passed away a year ago and I realized I lost my best friend she passed away on my couch with me and her son (my husband) by her side on my couch that I still have. My husband has had 3 heart attacks with the 3rd ending his working ability and is now on disability and my depression has prevented me from wanting to work. I have new things to put out but they sit in my daughters old room (I live in an apartment) I am in constant pain with my back and found out recently that I have no L4 L5 disc's in my back, osteoarthritis and degenerative osteoarthritis in my lower back and bad in my tailbone. Just using my canister vacuum takes me a long time to use because I have to stop from the pain. Sweeping is even worst. Someone on TH-cam told me to get a cordless it will be easier but with no job, no way lol. I would love advice if any can be given as to any gadget suggestions that may help me function a little easier and might help me want to try. Im not commenting on the other 3 videos because I don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to give a sob story for a giveaway. I'm genuinely in need of advice and the miracle of help from someone that can give me the kick in the butt I need to want to live in a better space and in hopes that would help pull me out of this depression and attitude of "I just don't care". I used to be told I was so bad and my house used to be spotless but because I've let it get for so Iong I don't no where to start. I have paint, new bed in a box, new comforter set etc thats been sitting in the spareroom for 2yrs + then I want to make my old room a room with a futon, my grandkids toys (6 of them) TV, video game consoles etc and I get so sad when they ask me all of the time Gammie when r u gonna switch the rooms (feel like the biggest loser) all of my decor I've had for like 20 yrs and mostly gifted used. I need a kitchen table. Its just so overwhelming. I need a friend, a miracle and advice especially on any gadgets or advice to help me avoid or help lesson the amount of pain I'm in and then maybe I'll try. I love what u do, ur family is beautiful 😍 this just made me cry, dream of what that would be like to have someone come in and push me. I watch cleaning videos in hope of giving me that push but honestly I'm poor, lack support so they mostly make me jealous, mad and mostly sad. I hope this is making sense. I have talked with other TH-camrs (cleaning) and some have been so kind and some just say u got to push yourself, I guess not knowing me and how I used to be no one would understand. Anyway thank u for reminding me that there is still so much kindness, generosity, positive people left in the world. Just please no advice on asking for things for Xmas I have no family or friends and I no Santa isn't real lol Have an Amazing Week!! Hey Jennifer! I’m so sorry to hear your struggles as I read your story! When I was young we had my grandma come stay with us and while I was young and didn’t understand it all, my mom has talked to me as an adult about how hard it was and how much it took to have to be the caregiver 24/7... so although I haven’t been in that situation with myself being the caregiver and can’t fully know what it’s like, I’ve been around it and I can honestly say ... don’t feel guilt, don’t feel anything negative on yourself. Give yourself love and grace in knowing you have done something so huge and it was a very hard thing. So there will be struggles and trials that come from that. I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost your friends during that time as well. ♥️ I have been in your situation of being extremely depressed and not able to get out of bed, do my chores, cook, even be myself. It’s debilitating in itself. I’m so sorry you’re going through that! Something that helped me was watching these videos, and it helped pull me out of it and little by little I got back into the swing of doing things I used to do, but life is always a battle... so even though we all have different problems, know you’re not alone. Also I completely understand that it’s not the same when you’re physically unable to do things. So give yourself grace there as well😘 As for devices or tips that would help clean... I would look into a robot vacuum! You can find them second hand on Facebook market place or on sale around the holidays. They can be so helpful and beneficial to keeping a home tidy while not making you do too much for them. Also, if you’re able to, I would write down 6/7 chores that you want to get done each week... (example - vacuum, dust, laundry, wipe counters, clean bathroom, etc) and assign one chore to each day! That way you can stay more on top of things but it doesn’t feel overwhelming! Also if you want to declutter, you could even plan for one day a week is declutter day. You can go to one space and declutter until you fill up a small bag etc. nothing huge, but overtime it can make a difference! I hope this helps you!! Sending love and prayers your way!!! ♥️

I love how open and airy this room looks now yet still feels so cozy and like a retreat! This is probably my second favorite makeover, my first would still have to be laundry room. The look on your sister in laws face was priceless and actually brought tears to my eyes. We are saving our bedroom for last in our home as well so I completely understood her excitement and just being proud of a space. Thanks to this video my husband even got excited about doing some room makeovers at our new house and he can't wait to add a barn door in to a room. I love all of your videos but this mini series really gave me so much hope and inspiration. As we are new homeowners and are on a very tight budget. THANK YOU again for sharing and showing it is possible le to transform a space with not a ton of money. Oh and my son (9) watched this video with my husband and I. He has now decided that he wants to copy your idea of how to hang curtains you used in his room! His room is the only room in our house that is finished. So Thank You for sharing that idea.... continue to share. Your videos mean more than you know.
All the makeovers are amazing but I think the boys room is my favorite. I am just amazed that you were able to make the room work for four boys and still have floor space for them to play!
Of the 4 makeovers, I think this is my favorite. You could really tell it meant a lot to your sister-in-law. As for your question, I love living in the country. To me there is nothing like it. I have been to Montana twice & it is a beautiful place. Your brother is very talented with building, welding, etc.... Love the idea of using pvc pipe for a curtain rod. Great job on all of it!
When Brittany said you move in, and you have plans on changing things, but life gets busy. I feel that 100%! I have so many “projects” I want to get done, but life is so busy, and us parents with littlest are always so tired. It’s so wonderful you could do this for your brother and sister in law ❤️

I love that poppy seed paint! Blue is my favorite color anyways, but that is just subtle enough to not overpower anything. Such a great room for them to relax in and enjoy!

I have absolutely loved this series! My other half and I have been remodeling an old shop into a farm house for my elderly grandparents on the family farm. It’s truly a special experience being able to do something for someone you love. 💜 I’ve lived in the city, and I have lived in the country... I must say, I’d choose country life over the city any day.

I live near the city for access to my doctors, but man, seeing the horses running around in the snow and all that big open space, I really wish I could live in the country. The room came out fantastic and it was so great seeing the happy tears at the end!

New here and cried like a baby for all 4 make overs. What a Blessings what u and ur husband did for ur niece, nephews, brother and sister-in-law!!!!! I think I may be hooked on this channel but also wishing so hard that I had someone in my life that cared enough to help me get my house done and all I want is help to clean and declutter it. Its been 4 yrs since I've been able to clean clean. Took my mother-in-law in 5 yrs ago with dementia and alzhermiers. I took care of her 24/7 for 4 yrs with no help and wow it way more then I could have ever imagined 2 yrs in I lost all friends and contact with the outside world and lost myself completely. Stopped cleaning, cooking, washing clothes, etc she passed away a year ago and I realized I lost my best friend she passed away on my couch with me and her son (my husband) by her side on my couch that I still have. My husband has had 3 heart attacks with the 3rd ending his working ability and is now on disability and my depression has prevented me from wanting to work. I have new things to put out but they sit in my daughters old room (I live in an apartment) I am in constant pain with my back and found out recently that I have no L4 L5 disc's in my back, osteoarthritis and degenerative osteoarthritis in my lower back and bad in my tailbone. Just using my canister vacuum takes me a long time to use because I have to stop from the pain. Sweeping is even worst. Someone on TH-cam told me to get a cordless it will be easier but with no job, no way lol. I would love advice if any can be given as to any gadget suggestions that may help me function a little easier and might help me want to try. Im not commenting on the other 3 videos because I don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to give a sob story for a giveaway. I'm genuinely in need of advice and the miracle of help from someone that can give me the kick in the butt I need to want to live in a better space and in hopes that would help pull me out of this depression and attitude of "I just don't care". I used to be told I was so bad and my house used to be spotless but because I've let it get for so Iong I don't no where to start. I have paint, new bed in a box, new comforter set etc thats been sitting in the spareroom for 2yrs + then I want to make my old room a room with a futon, my grandkids toys (6 of them) TV, video game consoles etc and I get so sad when they ask me all of the time Gammie when r u gonna switch the rooms (feel like the biggest loser) all of my decor I've had for like 20 yrs and mostly gifted used. I need a kitchen table. Its just so overwhelming. I need a friend, a miracle and advice especially on any gadgets or advice to help me avoid or help lesson the amount of pain I'm in and then maybe I'll try. I love what u do, ur family is beautiful 😍 this just made me cry, dream of what that would be like to have someone come in and push me. I watch cleaning videos in hope of giving me that push but honestly I'm poor, lack support so they mostly make me jealous, mad and mostly sad. I hope this is making sense. I have talked with other TH-camrs (cleaning) and some have been so kind and some just say u got to push yourself, I guess not knowing me and how I used to be no one would understand. Anyway thank u for reminding me that there is still so much kindness, generosity, positive people left in the world. Just please no advice on asking for things for Xmas I have no family or friends and I no Santa isn't real lol Have an Amazing Week!! Hey Jennifer! I’m so sorry to hear your struggles as I read your story! When I was young we had my grandma come stay with us and while I was young and didn’t understand it all, my mom has talked to me as an adult about how hard it was and how much it took to have to be the caregiver 24/7... so although I haven’t been in that situation with myself being the caregiver and can’t fully know what it’s like, I’ve been around it and I can honestly say ... don’t feel guilt, don’t feel anything negative on yourself. Give yourself love and grace in knowing you have done something so huge and it was a very hard thing. So there will be struggles and trials that come from that. I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost your friends during that time as well. ♥️
I have been in your situation of being extremely depressed and not able to get out of bed, do my chores, cook, even be myself. It’s debilitating in itself. I’m so sorry you’re going through that! Something that helped me was watching these videos, and it helped pull me out of it and little by little I got back into the swing of doing things I used to do, but life is always a battle... so even though we all have different problems, know you’re not alone. Also I completely understand that it’s not the same when you’re physically unable to do things. So give yourself grace there as well😘
As for devices or tips that would help clean... I would look into a robot vacuum! You can find them second hand on Facebook market place or on sale around the holidays. They can be so helpful and beneficial to keeping a home tidy while not making you do too much for them. Also, if you’re able to, I would write down 6/7 chores that you want to get done each week... (example - vacuum, dust, laundry, wipe counters, clean bathroom, etc) and assign one chore to each day! That way you can stay more on top of things but it doesn’t feel overwhelming! Also if you want to declutter, you could even plan for one day a week is declutter day. You can go to one space and declutter until you fill up a small bag etc. nothing huge, but overtime it can make a difference! I hope this helps you!! Sending love and prayers your way!!! ♥️

I love how open and airy this room looks now yet still feels so cozy and like a retreat! This is probably my second favorite makeover, my first would still have to be laundry room. The look on your sister in laws face was priceless and actually brought tears to my eyes. We are saving our bedroom for last in our home as well so I completely understood her excitement and just being proud of a space. Thanks to this video my husband even got excited about doing some room makeovers at our new house and he can't wait to add a barn door in to a room. I love all of your videos but this mini series really gave me so much hope and inspiration. As we are new homeowners and are on a very tight budget. THANK YOU again for sharing and showing it is possible le to transform a space with not a ton of money. Oh and my son (9) watched this video with my husband and I. He has now decided that he wants to copy your idea of how to hang curtains you used in his room! His room is the only room in our house that is finished. Of the 4 makeovers, I think this is my favorite. You could really tell it meant a lot to your sister-in-law. As for your question, I love living in the country. To me there is nothing like it. I have been to Montana twice & it is a beautiful place. Your brother is very talented with building, welding, etc.... Love the idea of using pvc pipe for a curtain rod. Great job on all of it!
When Brittany said you move in, and you have plans on changing things, but life gets busy. I feel that 100%! I have so many “projects” I want to get done, but life is so busy, and us parents with littlest are always so tired. It’s so wonderful you could do this for your brother and sister in law ❤️

This is so amazing! You can just tell how grateful they are! And I had to wait to watch all of them and see which was my favorite and honestly I can’t choose! I have absolutely loved this series! My other half and I have been remodeling an old shop into a farm house for my elderly grandparents on the family farm. It’s truly a special experience being able to do something for someone you love. 💜
