the speed stat is not movement speed it is attack speed which is not the exact same thing
I did the Arcanine math-
In order to run 6200 miles in a "single day and night" (assuming exactly 24 hours for simplicity), Arcanine would need to run 258.33 miles per hour *non-stop* for the full 24 hour span. If we factor in literally any breaks at all, it would need to move even faster than that.
And it's outsped by Miltank, Durant, and Cryogonal (among many others). A cow, an ant, and a snowflake are all capable of moving faster than a 260mph flaming wolf.

I did the math too but missed this comment. Fun fact, 1 speed equals 2.87 mph so shuckle with 5 base speed can move at 14 mph. Avg human max speed is 15 mph
i think a pokemon's speed stat is more indicative of its agility in battle, not necessarily how fast it can run/swim. i could run a 4.5 40-yard dash but be dogshit at changing direction or repositioning quickly.

Though even with that in mind, I still don't see how a cow has better agility *or* reaction time than freaking Rayquaza

Every question regardless of category is based on or the answer is a Middle-Stage evolution Pokémon.
Pretty sure content creators control when ad's can happen in their videos, so Zane put an ad after each countdown to the pika-mute himself so that each time a video of him saying something is supposed to play, some random ad plays first.

One thing to remember for categories, specifically in Gen 1 and partially Gen 2, they tried to be somewhat generic with them in this generation alone, so it could be a useful identifier. Hence why basically every rodent is a Mouse Pokemon other than the Nidos. Also why Blastoise is the Shellfish Pokemon

I always thought of speed not so much as how many miles per hour can you run, but more like a speedy reaction time. Like at the start of the turn someone says GO and whichever pokemon can react the quickest goes first.

6200/24 = 258.33 mph
With 90 speed he runs 258.33 mph so 1 speed is 2.87 mph.
Shuckle is the slowest pokemon at only 5 speed. Meaning it can move up to 14.35 mph.
Average human sprinting speed is around 15 mph. Humans would only be able to outrun one out of the 1000+ pokemon species, and even then, just barely (assuming speed stat = max mph)

I always read speed stats as how fast they accelerate and not their top speed. Cause top speed doesn't help moving first acceleration does

They will most likely know it's not slow, but given the level you're likely at and that you don't know how much faster a Pokémon is than you it heavily depends on your team.
