It will not be cheaper for any area but it will have more coverage in remotest areas of India. Also, the maintenance will be too high for satellite based communication as compared to traditional fibers based systems.
Satelite internet will be energy efficient as all equipment will run on solar energy. As all satelite above earth and they are powered with solar. Indian companies dont innovate. They are putting cable but not using other methods. Satelite will eliminate cables and tower. Every building just need one dish and entire building will use one dish.

I feel that for the first 3 to 5 years, allocation must be on an administrative basis and later should organise an auction.
Administrative allocation should be needed for spectrums for starlink why because it is cheaper than Jio
Only auction is the way n its the only way to get max funds.. There is no international law to follow the admin way.. India must see its Benifits

Also per GB data cost is already cheaper in India.
