Countrys resources are limited and we are overpopulated country already our resources are first for our youths then for others

But the CAA is about giving citizenship to people who are already living as illegal immigrants in India. This means they have been existing since a long time and have been utilising the country's resources in some way. There's no mention that people can come anytime and claim Indian citizenship. How does this argument then hold true?

Not sure why our citizens feel happy to give citizenship to crores of people of other country 😅😅. Is it really something that we should celebrate and it is the only solution instead of taking action against another country to stop religious prosecution and we are celebrating for inviting them then these demands will spread more and more from different parts of the world and for the sake vote bank govt doing such act. About CAA my opinion is it that in our country has unemployment, hungry, population issues, and types of issues and if government has not money to finish it how they treat others country's person after giving Indian citizenship. So i think it not should be.

This is a disastrous step from central government. Govt should refrain itself from taking such controversial decisions. By the way I have many doubts.
1- Why govt decided to provide them citizenship just prior to elections?
2- Why immigrants from Afghanistan are included in it when afg was never a part of undivided India.
3- What impacts it will have on our own people? Already many of our people are lacking opportunities and above that govt is providing these people citizenship.
4- Exactly how many people are going to get citizenship through CAA?
5- How it's going to influence politics in various regions of our country. As you mentioned there are around 3-4 crores people like this in WB. Definitely they can influence votebanks.
People here are so concentrated on religion, they are not even thinking about other issues.
i think there should be a limit on the citizenship given to people that would solve this issue

@@joeysal007 Well the bar based on religion is justified considering the partition of bharat was based on religion...also I think there are about 30-40k refugees that could get citizenship but the number of people getting citizenship should be kind of similar to green card system of the US

This law doesn't deny citizenship to anyone and only expedites the process for minorities persecuted on religious ground in neighbouring countries. Anyone protesting against these law should give argument why these people already living in india shouldn't be given indian citizenship.
It's not about the people living in India,it's about the people who are planning to migrate India.
As we are not developed country yet,we can't afford burdon of any other countries.
We can't justify them and our people,as there is many problems like poverty, unemployment, education.
So this bill is not relevant at this time .
It could be better when our India became a developed country and we should include all minority including rohingya Muslims of Myanmar.
