Meatloaf, who played the original Eddie, is a huge fan of Adam. Meatloaf said that in live he could never thought to be in the presence of a singer like Adam, that he could do an overdrive and put him in the same category as Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston. In another interview he says that in the rock world there are singers like Freddie Mercury and Steven Tyler, but the only singer that leave him awestruck was Adam Lambert and compare him to Janis Joplin and that he is a groupie of Adam. And this was before Adam become the lead singer of Queen.
That was Adam in the Rocky Horror Remake-MeatLoaf played Eddie in the original. Song is not by Queen its definitely for the Rocky Horror Picture Show Movie
Yeah. I couldn't believe it either. I kept doing double takes if you didn't notice. His look is so different in this to me. It almost looks like he has a different jaw. Maybe it's the sideburns that were throwing me off.
You've asked once if Adam was on tv shows or movies. That was one of his tv appearances. He also has appearances in Glee, Pretty little liars, Moonbase 8, and his biggest movie role so far - he gave his voice for emperor Maximus in Playmobil The movie.
The original RHPS came out in 1975. We also had the midnight shows. It is a musical, cult classic. When I was going in 77/78, the audience was "interacting" with the movie; saying certain lines or spraying water when there was a scene in the rain; innocent stuff. It evolved into much more and people began dressing up as the characters and doing a lot more than when I was going. "Hot Patootie" was originally sung by Meat Loaf who played Eddie in the movie. You reacted to Adam Lambert as Eddie when they did the remake of the RHPS in 2016. It's also kinda cool cuz Meat Loaf has said many times what a fantastic singer he thinks Adam is.
Thank you Vi. I see now. Yeah, that midnight showing is exactly what I was referring to. Interesting. I never quite understood it back then and I never investigated further. I am interested now. Thank you.
Fun fact - RHPS is the longest-running release in film history. The Oriental Theater here in Milwaukee has been showing it since 1978 and starting showing it with a shadowcast in the early 1980s. It's a ridiculous amount of fun, especially when going with people who have never been before and have NO idea what to expect.
Dude, how did you not know that was Adam? Signature sound and still looked like him. I'll give you a break because I appreciate that you go into these videos pretty cold, which I like because you make amazingly clairvoyant observations at times. Missed it with this one, though. LOL.
Given that this is live it’s really really good. I am a die hard Adam fan since day dot, but I am also a HUGE Rocky Horror fan. This wasn’t for me, though it really should have been. Meatloaf couldn’t do this live as good as he did in the film, but I think the problem for me with this is it was too light. Too... candy covered. I don’t blame Adam or the cast for this, I blame the direction. But Adam, as always, sounded EPIC. (When I say this wasn’t for me I meant the whole show. Adams vocals were spot on. I was just cringing a lot of the time with the entire production. Don’t come for me 🤪😘)
Thanks Ebony. I love your comments. You're being real and I really appreciate that. Like I said, I never really saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show in it's entirety and I also messed up thinking it was attached to Queen. Meatloaf was a name I heard, but for some reason never really heard their music. I had no frame of reference or nothing to really compare this too. I thought it was rambunctious, which is why it caught my attention. It was pretty wild. I guess it brought out the wild side in me that resides somewhere in my cellular makeup. Lol.
Ah man, that wasn't the entire song. That is Adam from the Fox TV anniversary remake. I'd never watched RHPS, the only song I was familiar with prior to this was Let's Do the Time Warp Again. There's too much to explain LOL so I just enjoy a different performance from Mr. Lambert.
You seem lost but that is realy Adam. The character wasn´t ment to be handsome so they did their best to change him. :) In the original version is Meatloaf, this was remake.

Wow. Meatloaf. I heard the name, but I am unfamiliar. Going to need to learn about Meatloaf now.

Oh...Okay. I will remove Queen from the name. Rocky Horror Picture is a totally different thing. Thanks Melissa.
The first time I saw this I couldn’t believe the singer was Adam. Fun reaction. Thanks as always!

The prosthetic make up makes Adam unrecognizable, but there is his voice! Loved this! Hadn’t seen it before and I’m a huuuge Glambert . Thank you

Love his teeth in PLL. 😛 Some times in this I think he looks like Elvis.
Totally. I was thinking the same thing Yvonne.
Cool. Thanks. I'll have to check these out.

That of course is Adam and it is the TV version of Rocky Horror....
Oh. Okay. Thank you Gila.

The fans are called "GLAMBERTS".

Ohhhhh...Gotcha. Thanks Drakulka.
YOU’VE NEVER SEEN THE WHOLE ORIGINAL ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW?!?!
Rectify that immediately my friend. You’ll thank me for it.
That was Adam. Nothing to do with Queen.
Really?!? Hmmm... I thought this was part of the Rocky Horror Picture show for some reason. Still learning. Thanks Glenys.
@@AmmaronReaction it is the Rocky Horror Picture show but nothing to do with Queen 👍
