Nile and Adam are magic together. I’ve never seen this. I love the dancing and how entertaining Adam is. He was born to put smiles on people’s faces. I always feel so happy listening to that voice- He is such an artist, even with music he didn’t write
Nile Rodgers and Adam have work together several times live and songs in studio, the last collaboration was in Adam song "Roses", included in Velvet. Nile has said: "Working with Adam Lambert was one of the most organically perfect jams I´ve had since Bowie" .
As you go thru the Roxy Concert you'll come upon his cover of Bowie's Starman. Adam participating in an online celebration of David Bowie in January and he first sang it there. You make me smile Ammaron and you'll have plenty of music to enjoy up to then. On to the next Adam reaction *big grin* Ooo, ooo, heads up. The Obama's are producing a series on Netflix airing July 4 called We the People. It's like a modern take on Schoolhouse Rock that used to air Saturday mornings. Do remember those? Civics isn't taught in US schools anymore so this is a series of animated songs teaching young people about how their country should be run. Adam is singing one of the songs called "These are Your Rights" written by a composer on Disney's Frozen. Chris Nee, on of the producers, tweeted: "@adamlambert was the first singer brought on, and damn wait to you hear the notes he hits. It's a song that reminds us we need to know our past to change our future. You're gonna love it."
Starman was fabulous, he also did a brilliant Halloween special in 2020 when he sang Bad Moon Rising filmed in a bathroom in London during lockdown - it was brilliant! Green hair and eyes a bit like the Starman look.
He’s just up there, dancing and having fun while hitting those notes like it’s nothing. Making it look so easy, but it’s only easy when you have a godgiven talent like that 😍
That was awesome! Adam looked like he just had so much fun and really enjoyed himself! I’m really enjoying your Adam reactions. You are so genuine and well spoken.
from the way that was introduced it looks like Nile just threw this in unexpectedly and Adam did it off the cuff. BTW this is at an Avicii concert so it's not the usual audience for this kind of music. But you can hear some "Oh My God" and other amazed reactions from the audience. Adam & Nile co-wrote one of Avicii's tracks with him and Adam recorded the vocals for it, which is why they were there. If you're curious, it's Lay Me Down.
Fun Fact! (Because I’m just full of them!) Nile Rodgers once tweeted that working with Adam was the most organic jam session he’d had since working with David Bowie! If you want another Adam/Niles collab you should check out Shady from Adam’s Trespassing album (which also feature Sam Sparro) and Roses from Adam’s Velvet album. I will go hunt up links for you.
Haha so I see you just uploaded a reaction to Shady! 🤣 I will just include the Roses link! (Though now I feel like you’ve done Roses already.) m.th-cam.com/video/flzDduMojAM/w-d-xo.html
Hi, here is a list of songs adam has covered if you are interested in checking them out Adam lambert cover songs Shout ( tears for fears) Blue suede shoes ( elvis) Starlight ( muse ) Bad moon rising ( creedence clear water) Stay ( rhianna) Is this love ( bob marley ) 20th century boy ( t rex ) Are you gonna go my way ( lenny kravits) Puple haze ( jimmy hendrix ) Wicked game ( chris issac ) Hot stuff ( donna summer ) Fame ( david bowie ) Starman ( david bowie ) Faith ( george michael ) One more try ( george michael ) Red house ( jimmy hendrix ) Heart break hotel ( elvis )
Have you been checking out the European tour he did with Queen that just finished? They did 36 dates and opened for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace concert. There's a live stream called Rhapsody Over London that you can get for a few more days. There's also been a few videos with the full concerts but if course the sound and visuals aren't as good. The last one from Copenhagen wasn't bad though.
I changed my mind. I am including the Shady link. The one Deb gave you was AWESOME because NILE FREAKIN RODGERS!! But this is one of my favourite performances simply because of Terrance’s mini solo (which is Sam’s part on the album version) and I’m such a Terrance Spencer fan. m.th-cam.com/video/yfil8IbPeL8/w-d-xo.html
Don't know if you've ever seen this. Adam at his high school graduation singing. You'd never recognize him. He's 240 pounds & a redhead (which is his natural color). You may not want to do a reaction to this. He was young. His voice cracked. He even laughs about it to this day. I think he's embarrassed by it. th-cam.com/video/wA7bA6rhKvc/w-d-xo.html
why would he be embarrassed by it? There's nothing wrong with his performance, his voice doesnt "crack" at all and the audience is cheering him on enthusiastically when he hits the big notes especially and give him a standing O. Or are you suggesting he should be embarrassed at how he looks - slightly chubby and reddish-blond hair? You have a whole bunch of things going on there buddy.
Please allow me to apologize for such a stupid comment or comment's that I spoke about please except my apology. I really do like watching your reviews it's like going back in time and reliving for the first time as well. I am so sorry for what I said please forgive me. I really like you ♥

Baby Adam is all grown up now, and it's truly been incredible seeing and hearing his evolution...
