I actually love that Michelle is comfortable enough to be make up free and wear a normal hoodie here in the U.K. Very refreshing. Love her! 💕

to be fair, it's radio. I know podcasts and radio shows video record now, but she was on radio for years and back then you didn't have to wear makeup

Slightly worried that their forgetting Tia is on the new season means she doesn’t last long 😭

Ru forgot Jinkx's name (on purpose?) before she won All Stars 7, so who knows. Could be a ploy

Totally agree, this is either brilliant subterfuge or a massive spoiler. I think the latter.

Didn’t Michelle do Morticia on Strictly and dance to the Addams family theme?

The Munsters were more popular in the UK

the Munsters were great, but clearly a bit of a rip off of Addams Family

I get why she is sugarcoating her job as a judge on that show, but making drag mainstream also killed its somewhat more thrilling aspects. The Disneyfication of it doesn’t help. Capitalism is the engine for drag now, at least on Dragrace, a lot of times it’s all about expensive attire (remember the H&M debacle?) and it shouldn’t be that way.

You shouldn’t take this personally, it’s not about you hon’

It's true that to be on the show now you have to have a shit ton of money, but your discounting it's impact worldwide. I remember being gay in the 70's and having people come in the bar with baseball bats and the cops didn't give a shit. The cool underground feeling was definitely special but I'll take being mainstream over the alternative any day. Esp considering the many countries where gay people are still persecuted.

@@christianeduardo1 its not about you either. Its absolutely true that there’s a lot of good and bad that comes from anything becoming mainstream.

Go support local drag. There's still tons of edgy and weird stuff out there. TV is made for the masses.

More than capitalism. Politics as well. Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared on Canada 🇨🇦 Drag race- of course, the queens did not fall for it, but it was a first (Brownface notwithstanding).

Why is “I was a massive fan of the original Addams Family” a genuinely funny out of context Michelle Visage quote? 😆
