I have been a Undertaker fan for 30 years...I was very fortunate enough to watch him live in South Africa, after wrestlemania 13. Back then, there was no internet or streaming. We had wait two weeks to get the tape to watch any event. I had no clue what happened at WM13...so imagine my excitement and exhilaration seeing Undertaker with the WWE championship around his waist live! Damn..I wish I could've recorded that moment. Respect to Undertaker always!
Such a privilege to have watched Taker since I was a kid and now I get to see him continue on as a living legend who is respected by many generations. Greatest character in wrestling history in my eyes.
Brother, if you take a shot every time he says "y'know" you won't make it long. Hell, when he first started doing media interviews you wouldn't of made it 10 mins. You might make it 30-45mins now. Depending on tolerance level.
@SSJ2Phenom it's so funny too cause he never had that issue while in character. Another person that was good on the mic, but in so many interviews couldn't seem to complete a sentence with a bunch of filler is shawn michaels. I think he's improved on that as well
I like hearing Taker talk with a friend about the other interests and aspects of their lives. It's fun to see the man behind the dead man as Mark Calaway. Imagining Taker playing catch with his kids was not a mental image I ever had when watching him Tombstone someone 😂. It's awesome. Thanks for doing this everyone who works on Six Feet Under.

Lmao so what your saying is he should have everyone from the attitude era on? You literally just listed 13 people. So is that the order you want them to appear on the show too?
I got to see Undertaker live at 4 different shows AND even meet him on 2 separate occasions. Seen him live at the very first wrestling event I ever went to, which was an In Your House PPV in Louisville KY in 1996. It was the event where he pulled Nash under the ring in that cage match with Bret Hart. Seen him live again a year and a half later in 1997 again in Louisville at In Your House: Ground Zero; which was his first ever televised match with HBK and the first time he ever did that suicide dive over the top rope. I was in row 4 on the floor right behind the ring steps he walks up and raises the lights. It was awesome. The next 2 times I seen him live was at random Smackdown tapings in 2008 and 2009. I met him for the first time before the Ground Zero PPV at this huge meet and greet. For a little while, when WWF/E was struggling because of WCW, you could buy an all access ticket and get to the venue like 3-4 hrs before the show and LITERALLY get just about everyone's autograph who is there. There'd be this long row of tables and the guys would just sit there and sign autographs as the fans just walked down the row from person to person. I was 9 and Taker was perfect. Kayfabe was still the rule and he was the Deadman so he wouldn't shake hands or do pictures, he'd sign whatever and simply say, "next!", and NOBODY argued either. The next time I seen him live was at an autograph signing in 2003 but this time he was the ABA. So he'd interact, smile, tell jokes, take pics, shake hands, etc. as I walked up, now 15, I tried to explain to this man, who was my hero, how much he meant to me and I started crying like a baby. IDK why, but I broke down like a baby as I tried to explain to my hero that he was my hero. He told me to meet him at the end of his table. When I did, he got down on one knee (was still taller than me too) and said, "Do you know why I keep doing what I do? Because of fans like you. Just knowing that there's people out there who feel the way you do keeps me loving the game. You're my hero too." He then hugged me, took a pic with me, and that was that. That was the last time I met him but as I've said, I've seen him live a few times after that. Taker, IMO, is the GOAT. When you're the most respected person in a field from your predecessors, your peers, those that came after you, and those who watch you; you're the GOAT! Even more so when you know why and how he's earned that level of respect and reverence.
Idk if Taker will ever see this but he did an excellent job at Wrestlemanja. It was perfect. This is from a pure storytelling perspective. The Rock taking on this role of the “Final Boss” at a Wrestlemania event and Taker came to show who the true Wrestlemania God is. I also saw it as Taker defending the honor of the Rhodes family, and putting the title in the hands of the son of a true legend. When he gave that subtle look over to Cody before he exits the ring with the lights out, it gave me the feeling of him saying, “It’s your time now, Son of Dusty.”
People talk about how The Joker destroys actors, but no one talks how strong Undertaker was for keeping his kayfabe alive and that dark force entity gimmick for 30+ years and be completely sane and good and fit after that is impressive, i think it's very hard for them. Some can do It, Others cant.
Had the privilege of seeing him wrestle live once. Amazing story. It was Bragging Rights, and he faced Kane in a Buried Alive match. Again. Took forever to get on because it some problems building the gravesight. I was pissed off a bit, and it was that Vickie Guerrero "Excuse Me!" era. So I yelled, "Kick her in the neck!" Fast forward to the match. I could tell something was off right away. Mark just looked hurt. Seemed like a hip problem. Walk to the ring took longer, not throwing punches as usual. I was close enough above the gravesight to have a perfect view of what happened next. And I'll never forget it. I had enough respect for him that without thinking, I just yelled, "We love you, Mark!" I was there with my mom and friends, my section was roudy the whole night, but Mark looked right up at me. So many grabbed me, yelling cheering, and I was just in shock almost. He went right back to whopping the shit out of Kane, and then Nexus came out and threw him in the hole. Now, all these years later, my mother has unfortunately passed away, but I still have that moment to treasure with her. I didn't mean to say it. Know the rules of wrestling. I was so wrapped up and excited that it was an accident but purely out of respect. And even after all these years, after all that I just want to say, thank you, Mark. From all of us. Thank you

Congratulations on hitting 300k Subscribers!!! I absolutely Love y'all's podcast, what a great setup and even better people!!! Mark is so genuine and these stories are gold, keep up the Great work fellas! Here's to hitting 1 million subs one Day! Blessings!
Taker has been known for being a BEAST with conditioning. Despite his size, he was rumored to be one of the most cardiovascularly fit in the locker room. As good as lifting is, and as strong as he was, it was his work capacity and mobility that set him apart. How many guys over 300lbs were tightrope walking and doing out of ring dives?
Taker's background in basketball definitely helped. My favorite move of his is the leg drop in the old school days - he would kick his leg up, jump and soar at what looked like 2m in the air, it looked almost inhuman considering his size and gimmick. Those flying lariats he was doing in his young days, man. He would go up so high and stay in the air for so long
Mark you are my childhood hero. I love you so much. Glad I found this podcast. The Undertaker is the best character WWE has ever had and will ever have. Please invite Maven to your podcast. That episode would be awesome. His channel is one of the best wrestling related
Another great episode, i could listen to you guys just casually banter all day. Its leading to some great wrestling talk. Keep up the great work Six feet Under team(even you Matt!). The Deadman is always a treat to see, whatever version he may come in.
Mark isn't old enough, but he reminds me of my grandfather. Just really chill, but also extremely intimidating due to his size, tats, gravely voice, funny and someone that just honestly cares about "his" people on a personal level. I didn't watch a lot of wresting while he was just the undertaker, but when he took on the persona of American Bad*** I was hooked. That persona seemed more real than mask. It was just Mark turned up to 500% rather than a costume he wore. He left an impression in wrestling history that will never be forgotten and that many will try to copy for decades to come. I'd love to see him as the GM at one point.
Im impressed with how articulate and intelligent Mr. Callaway is. Of course it takes a special kind of person to commit to that role for so long. Thank you for making my childhood amazing, sir.
There’s a giant majority of people that don’t want, and are sick of the woke propaganda and false offense. The WWE can/has capitalize so massively on that market.
Seeing Mark enjoying his retirement and reminiscing like this is really. But I'm still waiting for the brothers of destruction reunion on six feet under. LOL
I am from Albany New York, however back in 2002, when i was 15 years old i spent the summer with my uncle and his wife in Albiene Texas. It was a great experience. I was introduced to a couple of sisters, and their friends. The two sisters were named after the singers Gloria and Selena two pretty mexican girls, It was an awesome summer that i will always hold dear to my heart. The crazy part is about 15 years later i flew out to Dallas Texas for WrestleMania 32 with a buddy of mine. Out of nowhere i ended up bumping into the sisters Gloria and Selena. It was mind boggling. My buddy and i chilled with the sisters the entire WrestleMania weekend. Memories that i will always cherish. I remember looking up at Shane McMahon like holy shit this guys really gonna jump off the top of the Cell. Awesome seeing Undertaker Perform at WrestleMania 32.
Love seeing this. As an '90's/'90's kid, I was the only one of my friends who was an Undertaker fan. They all liked Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, etc. Now seeing this podcast and hearing stories and just conversations is awesome!
I saw him wrestle in ‘92 at the Portland (Maine) Civic Center. All I remember was his entrance with the place going dark and the “BONG….BONG…..” which was admittedly pretty goddamn memorable

I got to see him in 1995 at the Worcester Centrum, it was him vs the Undertaker, was suppose to be Hart and Taker vs Diesel and HBK but Nash had a transportation issue and HBK ended up facing the British Bulldog. Goldust interfered in the Taker/Hart match and they both beat up Dustin. Great show.
You guys never have to worry about losing me as a viewer, considering I’ve been a fan of The Undertaker since I’ve started watching wrestling, Mark thank you for the memories.
Undertaker was good at what he did he knew what he had to do n also take care of his opponent he was really smart n intelligent n he learned everythin he had to Undertaker or may I say Mark Calaway is the BEST ALWAYS
I remember the Invasion pep talk that Vince gave Kurt Angle, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane and you Mark, I loved the look you kept giving Steve it’s almost like he was actually irritating you, that “shut up” to him was gold.
I love the subtlety of Taker in his comments about the weaknesses of WWE or situations that would put the company in a bad spot. He doesn't deny the problems, but deal with them with finesse and enthusiasm. The man is loyal as a roundtable knight.
What taker forgot to say is he needs to find the creativity 1rst to utilise it! His creativity has not set the world on fire since he took over but to listen to some folk youd think Triple H had rewritten the book of creativity! Far from it with very few exceptions! People need to stop idolising him and get real.

Him as mark/taker/badass is perfect for his story. Its just like kane being corporate kane. He's still a monster but he is more then just a monster. And it works. Allows him to maintain that he is and always will be taker and bad ass.
Probably as close as I’ll ever get to sitting around hangin and just listening to this man talk about anything and it’s awesome that he does it. Love his points of view and the way he feels about holding on to as much of the old ways as possible. Yeah, smart marks don’t realize how ridiculous they get. And these fans with the dates don’t seem to realize that the guys who made the stuff they memorized every bit of were busy with putting together those performances.
1 more thing I have to say thanks to Mark for showing the respect, and taking seriously how important that the Undertaker character really is... 30 years of hard work and a Legacy that really will never be matched and a Character that was portrayed to perfection should be left alone and I agree with Mark... let's not cheapen it... I'm sure that even now it is possible that we may see the Undertaker again one day if it's done right with a good story behind it and for a good reason otherwise as much as I'd love to see it... I'm OK with the way things ended
It´s so frickin´cool to see the hero I adored as a kid called The Undertaker talking about things I watched as a 13/14 year old and actually believed the feuds were real, it sure as hell felt real. Taker vs HBK at WM, Taker VS HHH at WM, stuff like that hold so much memories. The only wrestler I ever owned merch from, even though I don´t fit the shirt anymore I still have it. Also just really amazing to see the human behind the performer. Now that it's the Paul Levesque era (another hero from back then, that's why Taker vs HHH was so impactful for me as well) I'm stoked to see what's coming!
I was probably 7-9years old and I saw the match where Taker was buried alive and I thought it was real🤣 I think it was against Kane if I remember correctly

I know it's a sponsor, but thanks for continuing to mention 1st Phorm. They have great products that have made our ife better. The Creatine Monohydrate and Micro Factor nutrient supplement are both highly recommended as well. Getting people healthy is a great goal!
I fell asleep in an MRI machine when I was preparing to have my right knee cleaned out. When they say don't move, I didn't. I snored all the way through it.
It took me a while to get to that point. Herniated disc. First MRI, I was bordering on a panic attack. Ended up doing so many, I got to the point of falling asleep.
I'm still waiting for the day when people like a Vince Russo with his "Castrating Of The Marks" for the lights to go pitch black, you hear the iconic tomb sound, lightning strikes, the lights come back up, and you see the Undertaker appear and say in his Undertaker voice, "I am a Mark."
Triple h is doing a great job, you can see as a fan he has a good bond with talent, they'd definitely seem a lot more comfortable and freer, and fans are enjoying it a lot at moment. Definitely can't think of anyone else.
I don't see Mark getting enough credit for how well-spoken and intelligent he is. It's no coincidence his career lasted that long at the top level

Congratulations on hitting 300k Subscribers!!! I absolutely Love y'all's podcast, what a great setup and even better people!!! Mark is so genuine and these stories are gold, keep up the Great work fellas! Here's to hitting 1 million subs one Day! Blessings!
Six feet under has become the Goat of wrestling Podcast
No that belongs to the Kurt Angle show. It's true it's damn TRUE
Keep it up matt, and Mr. Undertaker, you guys are great!!!
Thank You Mark 30+ and still relevant Today
Guys I highly reccomend more thumbnail variety. Passed this episode all day because they all look so similar
Great episode! Really enjoying the Six Feet Under Episodes! Gonna give that pre workout a go! Thanks! 🔥 🎸
I like this version of Undertaker!!!
Triple H is doing a great job with what he's got, so is Mark on this podcast. Both are amazing
I recently switched from beer to hard seltzer/vodka soda. Seeing Taker Crack one open makes me feel better about that decision
Such a good mix of conversation. Would love to BS w Taker.
I look forward to this podcast. Going through a tough time at the moment, and somehow these videos are able to make me laugh. Thank you both!
Hearing Undertaker talk about being a Whataburger fan and being from Texas myself was music to my ears
This is too awesome!! Will never forget the first time seeing Taker live at a house show in Valparaiso, IN…what a life changing experience
LOL
Love the pod, keep doing your thing!
We love hearing what you and taker do outside of wrestling, don’t be afraid of talking about you!
“It’s not that they’re soft” 💀🤣 nah… they’re soft
Undertaker acknowledging his Corporate Ministry Co-Captain. ⚱️🎮 #DeadlyGame
I got to see him Wrestle once when i was a kid, Taker Vs Ultimate Warrior at the New Haven Collesium in 91. Hes the GOAT for sure
I saw him wrestle in ‘92 at the Portland (Maine) Civic Center. All I remember was his entrance with the place going dark and the “BONG….BONG…..” which was admittedly pretty goddamn memorable
That musta been cool to see. I saw Taker vs Brock HIAC No Mercy 2002. Loved it
I got to see him live at 4 different shows AND even meet him on 2 separate occasions.
Great show.
Taker the goat 🐐 the leader
Maven really should do a podcast with the Undertaker....
Never gonna call him Mark
Probanly gonna call him yes and no sir
You guys never have to worry about losing me as a viewer, considering I’ve been a fan of The Undertaker since I’ve started watching wrestling, Mark thank you for the memories.
Undertaker was good at what he did he knew what he had to do n also take care of his opponent he was really smart n intelligent n he learned everythin he had to Undertaker or may I say Mark Calaway is the BEST ALWAYS
Having to apologize for calling the soft generation soft is exactly the proof that they are soft
Not sure why the host needs to share stories about himself all the time on this podcast that's meant to be all about The Undertaker.
I have never see a podcast that changes their set up every week 😭😭
I remember the Invasion pep talk that Vince gave Kurt Angle, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane and you Mark, I loved the look you kept giving Steve it’s almost like he was actually irritating you, that “shut up” to him was gold.
Taker's mark of a co-host should watch Danielson vs Ospreay .. his head would explode
I love the subtlety of Taker in his comments about the weaknesses of WWE or situations that would put the company in a bad spot. He doesn't deny the problems, but deal with them with finesse and enthusiasm. The man is loyal as a roundtable knight.
Mark Calloway is the GREATEST PERFORMER IN WRESTLEMANIA HISTORY PERIOD!!!!!
Thanks for these man really interesting and fun to listen. Any chance of Macho Man ep would be epic to hear the tales. Great stuff dude!!
What taker forgot to say is he needs to find the creativity 1rst to utilise it! His creativity has not set the world on fire since he took over but to listen to some folk youd think Triple H had rewritten the book of creativity! Far from it with very few exceptions! People need to stop idolising him and get real.
Agreed it looks and sounds like the same old WWE we all know
Who's podcast is this? I thought it was the Undertakers podcast but he can't get a word in with this host.

Love the undertaker and his wife im hopping one day his wife gets back on tv. I miss mccoole on tv. But i really love the podcast. Love hearing the undertaker stories i miss him on tv. But im happy he has a podcast. Im laughing my butt off with the podcast. I love taker and his partner. Keep doing amazing job
Signs at Attitude ERA events were the original memes 😅
Him as mark/taker/badass is perfect for his story. Its just like kane being corporate kane. He's still a monster but he is more then just a monster. And it works. Allows him to maintain that he is and always will be taker and bad ass.
It's not undertaker's fault but man DDP sure got screwed when he came over. Imagine if they had kept him serious DDP it would have been big.
Undertaker is not ACCUSED of calling this generation soft, he absolutely did on Joe Rogan podcast 3 years ago!
Well, 3 years ago, wwe still had vince so....
He said it, what does Vince has to do with this aspect!!!
I left after "ohhh marrrkkk" 😂
Smoking out of a bong 💨🍃 drinking beers 🍻 and enjoying another 6 Feet Under vid, cheers 🍻
Undertaker said the exactly what ive been saying for years @55:15
The building method mentioned at the beginning is common in the Raleigh NC area too.
Undertaker talking about buying land was not on my bingo card 😂
Yeah for 15 mins. The host gotta do better. Thats not what were here for.
@@rezzytheskyguywe're here to watch a podcast hosted by matt and Mark, if they wanna talk about hot sauce for an hour and a half it's their right and I'm confident they'll make it entertaining
@@IzuKiNoUzushio they did not
Thankful this isn’t a Conrad podcast!!!!
1:09:16 might be you’re real hair but that’s a wild hair line and this coming from the king of widows peak 😂😂
--HOST--Lets remember we're here to hear from Take. Just a lil reminder. Thx.
If there's one thing I want to know is the lore behind the eyes rolling up, and how he does it.
Ill never forget Mark Henry vs. Undertaker at a house show in Joplin, MO 2006. No DQ and im right at the barricade. The 10 year old me can still feel the sweat from Takers hair 😂😂😂. Thanks for the memories man.
Biggest fan of Mark i watched his first match at 12 and havent stopped but never got to see him nor Sting live and that haunts me ... Especially after seeing so many concerts but never a wrestling event
I know it's a sponsor, but thanks for continuing to mention 1st Phorm. They have great products that have made our ife better. The Creatine Monohydrate and Micro Factor nutrient supplement are both highly recommended as well. Getting people healthy is a great goal!
Like this podcast, but who’s a worst host that tried to make the podcast about themselves, Conrad or this guy
They're playing off each other. It's more of a friendly conversation between two friends. I don't mind it at all.
@@pelicanphuucker4lifeits like watching the jim Cornette experience or the drive thu. Corny and Brian last constantly playing off each other.
He's actually good friends with Mark. It comes across like two guys just hanging out. Conrad just comes across like an AEW mark.
Y’all are welcome we have 70 acres in Canada you guys can hunt on. All I ask is a picture with Taker 😂
"This is my real air it's not weaved in" I cracked up hard at that!
Not too far out of Austin is a town called Temple. There's a place there called Jody's. Absolutely delicious food.
HHH will bring WWE to a whole new level. Its pretty good again. Definitely fun to be a wrestling fan the last few years
Thanks for these podcasts! Hope to see you in southeast!
He is the.... Final.... Bosssss
@@ChrisBl33p The Undertaker? After Wrestlemania, that may be true.
He needs to have all the wrestlers on the podcast. That will blow him up
I’m sliding into Whataburgers DM, right now. Not cool WB, told my wife who works there at the corp office. We must fix this 💔
Triple h is doing a great job, you can see as a fan he has a good bond with talent, they'd definitely seem a lot more comfortable and freer, and fans are enjoying it a lot at moment. Definitely can't think of anyone else.
God someone fire this host. He talks more than taker. Jesus christ.
