you are right ! what i can tell you i think , they are applying the setting that work on their machine, for exemple nexus machine depth are fully based on ground balance so they make sure they hit the target with their ground balance disregarding the stability of their machine sometime. And like you said it an extremly bad way of setting the ground balance, i can even tell you that with a bad ground balance setup you can make the detector ring on every swing to you make you think they hit the target, on one side they discriminate target with gb on the other side they do the contrary depending on which detector they want to promote.

Amazing test!! Holy Fisher sucks..so does Minelab and the others.. except the Golden Mask detector!!! seems the best!!! and it reminds me of that cool Russian Pirate brand metal detector. Wish either of those two companies had a dealer available in Canada. I never heard of Blistool, whatever it is, it performed like junk.. just like the others!! cant believe Fisher and Minelab are garbage detectors but I'm glad at the same time so I can find how to get one od these Golden Masks or the Pirat :-) Thanks for the honest demo!!

of course ,,bringing the coil down even slightly to the ground unset in your swing(which i noticed) could give a slight signal,,,but to conclude,why dont you invite the representatives from the relevant companies to be involved in your tests ? maybe they wont even turn up ,,but try ? rgds LB.
