When I see the size of calves and “bonkeys” I can’t help but wonder how the heck does mama cow and donkey deliver such big and awkward babies? They’re the cutest things ever! How on earth did you learn all the ends and odds necessary to keep everyone healthy and happy? School? On the job training? Your boys are always so poised and such loving helpers. What a wonderful learning experience for them. 🥰

When do the babies get their ear tags (ouch!) ?

We usually take them before they go to their new homes… so between 3 and 4 months of age. Most don’t even really notice…
