I’m watching from Canada 🇨🇦 absolutely intriguing political insight …I wonder what could go wrong if the ANC could just go ahead and govern as a minority govt ..legislate in a bipartisan fashion …like the American style ??is that even possible in a South African political system???
It's completely different to '94. Yes the criteria was 10% then, but all of the top 3 agreed on constitutional democracy as the form of government. Now with the advent of anti-constitutionalism one of the criteria is that the parties involved support and defend the constitution. Admittedly your fabrication of these definitions are very articulate, but they remain fabrications. You're math is wrong. If the ANC brings 40% of the national vote into a GNU with the other parties that achieved 10%+ then they will have 52% of cabinet. Obviously you would want the EFF to be included there but they didn't get 10% and as you say, you can't have your cake and eat it too. The ANC is it's own party and doesn't need the anyone to tell it what to do. Thanks though. The ANC's role has been to open the door and set the terms of how other parties can work with it. It is obviously going to work with parties that can provide enough votes to make it work, it is not required bend over backwards for sub 10% parties. You are right about this being a big political opportunity for the EFF and it was very astute for them to announce early against the GNU. It gives them credibility in the event of failure and allows to shirk the responsibility of nation building. I feel they are well suited to the role of disrupter and dissenter, so they are playing to their strengths. Kudos. Your proposal for multi-sphere coalitions is untenable. It exchanges stability for a seat at the table for the EFF. It makes sense only to the EFF. You are right, no one in their right mind would table such a proposition. Thank you Doctor for your work in bringing intelligence and clarity to our complex situation with eloquence and nuetrality. I very much hope your suggestion of a multi-sphere governance model might achieve some implementation and best wishes in getting an audience in parliament for it. It sounds good. If nothing else it will help to indicate levels of sincerity and competence by 2026. Are there any examples of anything similar elsewhere in in the world currently or historically?
DA needs to be part of the National Coalition to assist the Government Enterprises and privatize some sectors .Western Cape is the only Province with stats to show growth in SA . Just a model to work from Nationally
I disagree as a supporter of the DA. The DA have heaviliy revolved around foreign investment to boost economic growth. This makes sense for a toursit hotspot like the western cape, but this is not ideal for majority of south africa
The Multi-Party Coalition has a better chance of some success than the EFF has in Limpopo and the MK in Kwa-Zulu Natal as the latter two are incapable of running any government without stealing all the money. The few bad apples within the ANC can now leave and maybe the ANC can get rid of all it's bad apples as there are a few good guys that can make a positive contribution.
It's important to educate the improvised and affected low socio economic areas so we all understand your interpretation. This way the public doesn't get hoodwinked easily.
The ANC and DA have more than 60% of the vote alone they have a majority they dont need EFF, the EFF declined did not even make 10% , a small party wanting to be the loudest in the room.

Empty suit no couragw
@@AlbertCloete and it's possible that he still going to continue to be a president. They will do whatever it takes with the DA to achieve that
Well done bro, excellent articulation and comprehensive analysis. Unlike so called analysis who are biased and infiltrated by certain narrative agenda. Keep up with good work bro👌👌
You are an outstanding youth leader

`Extremely insightful! Thanks for this
Everything about your videos is high quality, the video, the sound and especially content. The one problem I have sometimes is when you look away from the mic a portion of a word can get inaudible which is normally ok but it was more inconvenient in that interview with Gogo for me since I like to Google some of the words being said.
Love you channel! Thanks for reporting in top class fashion (pun intended). Been following you since the elections and pretty sad I only found your channel now. Keep it up!
Yay! Thank you!
Would be great to get some insight into the workings of MK. I wonder if they can keep together or function at all without msholozi.
Great show
Thank you Doctor for your work in bringing intelligence and clarity to our complex situation with eloquence and nuetrality.
What is driving growth in the WC?
@@vusibiyela6032I don't know? Can you tell me?
I disagree as a supporter of the DA. The DA have heaviliy revolved around foreign investment to boost economic growth. This makes sense for a toursit hotspot like the western cape, but this is not ideal for majority of south africa
Thank you so much
🙌🇿🇦Good morning ❤️🙌
The Multi-Party Coalition has a better chance of some success than the EFF has in Limpopo and the MK in Kwa-Zulu Natal as the latter two are incapable of running any government without stealing all the money. The few bad apples within the ANC can now leave and maybe the ANC can get rid of all it's bad apples as there are a few good guys that can make a positive contribution.
You my plug for SA politics shit. Keep up the good work!
Another excellent presentation. Can Mogoeng Moegoeng be brought in.....
24:39 what a joke, do you really think most people vote based on policy.
@sharonaadams9721 the point he was making is not about percentages but rather about prportions. The percentage does not detract from the point
What a time to be alive
It's important to educate the improvised and affected low socio economic areas so we all understand your interpretation. This way the public doesn't get hoodwinked easily.
I am sceptic about adding more parties to the coalition. I think we need at least 3 parties in Government.
Agreed but then don’t call it a GNU. Call it what it is: a coalition.
The ANC and DA have more than 60% of the vote alone they have a majority they dont need EFF, the EFF declined did not even make 10% , a small party wanting to be the loudest in the room.
That is obvious but it would not be a GNU. The point is about what defines a GNU. Similarly ANC + MK = a majority but it’s not a GNU.
Juju is like a yorky who wants people to see him like a Rottweiler
Your always give sober scenario analysis...ayeye..Dr..
Multi-sphere GNU is the one,Dr Sizwe cooked like always. Ayeye! 🔥🔥
