- How to change from AGM to Lead Acid Battery in DME. Plus how to register a new battery replacement. I show you how to code using NCS Expert and how to register a new battery in GT1 DIS V57. This will apply to a number of modern BMWs.

I feel grateful this reconditioning program th-cam.com/users/postUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 was started. I had Three dead batteries scheduled for disposing of. Having said that, I tried out reconditioning them and it took me only an hour to do it! It doesn`t matter what type of battery you want, the process works.
Just completed 2014 X5 battery replacement with a H9-AGM battery. No any warning and registration reqirement prompted. Every thing works as before. Thanks.
did you check you voltage reading under the hood to see if your battery exceeding the 15 volt range?..I did check mine and indeed reading 15 volts which means I am overcharging my battery
@@taral3548 You are correct. my battery was damaged after 3 month without registration. This time I brought a BMW registration tool to register a new battery. Hope it will last five years.

Surprised your lead acid lasted that long. I put a lead acid in my agm coded car and it lasted 2 weeks before it ruined a cell in the battery. I didn’t get around to coding it soon enough
Which number do you need to use to register the battery? Can you register after market battery?
Hello. Before you made the change to the battery register, did you notice weird things your X5 was doing? Such as your CD stacker initialising every time you unlocked the car the next day?
Yes actually, when the car barely had enough voltage to start it would do some odd things.

I have an E70X5 2010 the hatch is not opening the globe Box not opening an air conditioner only blows hot air and it goes on and off sometimes could this be the cause low battery voltage

Would you please help me? I Tried to code my new battery to my E70 2012 diesel but when I load NCS Expert I get an error right after it loads the VIN #. Right below the VIN # you have PA + string of letters and number and I don’t get that. Any idea why? Thank you.

Figured I'd state the obvious but have you changed the battery in your key fob? Cars with comfort access do not have rechargeable batteries. They only last about 2 years and you have to replace them.

So you're able to load INPA but NCS Expert isn't loading for you? They're part of the same software suite.
After 3 days of non stop reading about BMW software and tools etc etc. I understood that its a big pile of mess where people don't know WHY don't know WHAT, they gather a bunch of emulators, loaders, custom packed software, barely translated from german with an UI from 60's, BUT they know if I click here and there it MIGHT work. Why? Because the bloke on bimmerforum said so :D. Sorry this has nothing to do with your video its just me whining....
Hmm, works great until i come to 27:20, the coapiReadSgGetFswPsw. When i press ok, and then ok again I get an error message. I´trying to code a non age 100ah battery. Any thoughts?
The error says coapi-2041: wrong ECU coding index A_E65CAS: codierindex=09h and it continues..

Yes if you just need to code you only need NCS Expert, I used DIS to verify/register the battery.
