For that anime bit, I can see where they're coming from. Although the anime characters do have games, they didn’t start out as such like everyone else
It's crazy how the Mario movie made double what both of the sonic movies made in box office
Even though i liked the sonic movie more than the mario movie it was good it just felt like this was a princess peach movie than the brothers.
The mario movie was definitely more popular with kids. It helps that they didn't waste time on any mediocre human sideplots like the sonic movies did.
Ngl, the Sonic movies are better, especially the second one when they introduced Knuckles.
Mario is way more iconic. It’s expected. Sonic still did great when most video game adaptions didn’t.
Sonic still had better ratings though. Somehow even the first one had better ratings. So mario won the money game but the better mlvie, at least according to critics and audiences say sonic.
